Trading Bases For Improved Returns - Optimum Number Of Bases??

- Trading stocks is all about probabilities and there are numerous ways to move those probabilities into our favour. One of those ways is the analysis of trading bases within a trend.
Newly formed bases often have better success than those which are mature in their cycle, perhaps 4 bases or more within the cycle.
As always I hope it gives some food for thought when building your own trading strategy.

I disagree with your analysis on the last example you gave about inter Parfums. Your first base is too low. No way to tell at that time that is on an uptrend. Bases starts with confirmed reversal. It's not even above your red line. No doubt you entered on your 2nd base but I think your 2nd base is really the 1st base.
Seems completely subjective to me - not in favour.
