1. how easy is it to detach display unit? When you are in some unsafe area then its better to remove the display unit and take it with you. 2. not able to find amazon India link. I personally don't trust any product which is not available on amazon or in my local shop. Amazon has helped me several times even when return period is over and product is still in warranty. No other ecommerce platform does this. 3. storage option? Since its android we can download offline maps for certain maps app. So having sufficient storage would be a big plus. 4. warranty? Customer support? Lot of such products have WhatsApp warranty and they usually disappear after few years.

So about detaching the display, that’s a pretty straightforward process, just needs hex keys of two different sizes to unmount the display. Also, if the assembly given to attach the display with this seems complicated, since this has a ball head mount, you would just need a holder of appropriate size to hold the ball head. I may consider doing that. Rest, the waterproof connectors on the wires from the display unit are just a child’s play to rotate and detach should you need to detach the display from the power cable wiring. And, with regard to sourcing this online, yes you are correct about Amazon, however for motorcycling products i normally prefer dedicated motorcycling product stores as well, more so after talking to them directly before a purchase. I got this one from Moto Earth, after speaking to Mehul, the gentleman who runs this store. Great guy, a biker himself, he is very eager and prompt to talk and resolve any queries.
