Man this will be one of the all time coolest whiskey journey series that will ever be on the internet. From the very beginning til you start regularly dropping bottles will be amazing to watch.
As a Wichitan, I always wondered what happened to Wheat State Distilling. I got married in their old location (it's now an event venue) and can confirm that their bourbon was not great
@@tn_onyoutube8436agreed ! more eyeballs to see deals like this that aren't really "advertised " outside of certain areas. Good opportunities are always the hardest to find
Those boilers can be moved on a semi. I work at an ethanol plant and we had some temp boilers that sat on semi trailers for months while ours got repaired. I bet if you reached out to the boiler manufacturer, they could lead you in right direction on transportation.
Hey TJ you will need a Steam fitter/Boiler Maker for that midsized Boiler. This is not FAFO equipment as when a Boiler goes sideways wall/buildings can be leveled, plus get an electrician to disassemble the panels.
You can most definitely use those columns to make bourbon. Woodinville Whiskey has almost this same exact still but much larger and they make tons of bourbon. I know this bc I used to run their old equipment at another distillery in WA
It takes a brave man to open a distillery today, but I hope you succeed. I fear we will see several distilleries fail in coming few years, but that might present opportunities for more barrels and equipment until you get your own whiskey dialed in and properly aged. I think as long as you maintain a high standard of quality, you can make this work.
It's a Bryan Steam flextube boiler. I wouldn't bother disassembling it for transport and rather load it by crane. Wichita Burner is a good local boiler resource.
Thanks for helping out this failed distillery . Wichita is my hometown and I hate to see businesses fail, but when someone can take it and make it live on then that’s a legacy. Congrats and best of luck.
You got that from the owner of my wifes company. We have a lot of stuff they have given out. For a reason. But they were bottled long ago. may be better now. But the Bella is drain whiskey that we have. Glad to see after some age they got better! I always said. Definitely a valiant effort. And with more time Im sure they got a lot better. Super excited to try out what you do with it and that you are giving them a second life!
Once you start producing, I’ll definitely buy a bottle if it’s decently affordable! I’m a little north of you so it would be really really cool to have another local ish distillery especially from someone who knows a lot about it. Very excited for your future endeavors, this is truly the deal of a lifetime!
I recommend Steve Vest with Nationwide Equipment Transportation for managing the movement of equipment from Wichita to where you need it to go. Solid guy.
Brewzle ! Buy Old carter they are making much more profit They are in between to sell their 1600 barrels because of family disputes You can buy those and put it together on reasonable price Distribution start with states that allow to ship and top 5 states sells bourbon like Kentucky Indiana for example That will be a fortune for sure 👍🏻
What a great video! Knocking it out of the park there, TJ. Sad that as I’m in the UK I’ll most likely never see or drink any of either this or your future production. Assuming the world is still going after the next 4 years!
Hey Tj, I work for a pump company in Bham. We sell food grade CIP pumps, heat exchangers, valves and more. Would love to help if and when you get that far. Love the channel!!
I'm only mid-way through your video, but based on my experience you can have everything for almost nothing because there primary interest is to get someone to remove everything from the building at their own expense, so they can stop the bleeding on the building rent. I have seen this situation many times. Good luck to you in your new venture.
Nice hell yeah i always knew you were destined to own a distillery brewzle. Im a winemaker but have worked in breweries and distilleries if you ever need any help whatsoever i am always available.
I’ve loved watching you chase obtainable gems for years. I’m so excited to see you build obtainable gems. Finally got around to subscribing. Lemme know when tours start!
is oak the only wood used for barrels,,,, i think using different types like mesquite, hickory, oak, pecan , and such would open up new flavors,,, dig the vids,,, God bless
If you need to lay barrels over, you can just tip them and let them fall over. They won't break. The things I've seen done to barrels, letting them fall over is treating them nicely 😂😂😂
So for all the large equipment you will need to contact a rigging company to get an estimate and figure out logistics. Basically they specialize in moving very large, very heavy machinery.
If you haven't moved the equipment yet, you just need to find a good Millwright company to transfer equipment from building onto to a flatbed semi and ship her down. Then have another Millwright company set it up in Alabama for ya.
Great Score!!! There are a ton of Whiskey/Beer/Gin etc companies out there that are teetering on Extinction!! You lucked out on this as you got to go in and Try a Whack of blends and you know which ones to separate etc!! I am from Canada there is a huge Whiskey following here ! Hope you can deconstruct the place quickly and as they say Get the wall Paper we are Movin!!!

Thank you!

It's amazing how this came into play when your goal is to start a distillery!! I hope this pans out to be a sweet deal for you!
The beauty of having 600k plus subscribers! Some of those are going to spot this sort of opportunity, wherever it is.

I appreciate the kind words

Any "decent" flatbed company (TMC or Roehl) can do it ..
Hey TJ you will need a Steam fitter/Boiler Maker for that midsized Boiler. This is not FAFO equipment as when a Boiler goes sideways wall/buildings can be leveled, plus get an electrician to disassemble the panels.
Im a truck driver as a flatbed expert . All of that equipment in the wearhouse could be transported on 53ft flat bed

Congratulations one big step for brewzle whiskey journey Can't wait to purchase my first bottle from you guys when it's all said and done 😊

Congrats on the purchase & best of luck in your new business ventures!
Thank you!
I would love some of that gin. If you can split it out into some smaller barrels I can imagine you would have a lot of takers.
would love sum
I’ll take some gin if you can get it in a barrel.
Same
I’m with you! Love gin.

Your passion for whisky is contagious. You make me excited to try whisky and I’m not a whisky guy 😂
Also you look exactly like my grandpa in the best way

Amazing brother! Hope for continuous blessings!
Thanks, Jason!
The Lord doesn't bless things like this, just saying...😁
@jasonmagallanez3212 actually the Bible says to judge righteously.
Thanks for helping out this failed distillery . Wichita is my hometown and I hate to see businesses fail, but when someone can take it and make it live on then that’s a legacy. Congrats and best of luck.

If ever in Iowa, visit Lonely Oak Distillery in Earling Iowa. They grow their own corn, start to finish family owned. Great family!
hell yeah. good for you, hope it is successful and you learn a lot!
Exciting news and video. Congrats TJ.

Brewlze when shipping large odd objects use a rigger surface. We use them to pickup, delivery and setup CNC machines.
Dreams, goals, reality-this is a fun journey already. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Congratulations on this excellent purchase and cheers to the tipster!
Thank you :)
Pretty excited for you guys. That’s a great opportunity for sure…if you can make it work. Cheers and best of luck🥃
I love barrel rested Gin!
What a great video! Knocking it out of the park there, TJ.
Sad that as I’m in the UK I’ll most likely never see or drink any of either this or your future production.
Assuming the world is still going after the next 4 years!
It was great talking to you at Morts after you checked out the distillery. Glad it is working out.
This will be fun to follow. Looking forward to where this is going.
My whiskey thief is a little short too, but if you stir it around you can still reach the pleasurable parts of the barrel.
Good luck brewzle! I've been outta the hunt for a while, but I'll def be looking for a brewzle release
I'm so jealous of you getting this opportunity. Thanks for sharing!
This is awesome! Congrats TJ. Looks like you have a fun library to blend with! If you need any help let me know 😉
Congrats man! You put in work and are getting awesome results. I’m excited to watch and celebrate your future success.
Sounds like a deal that's too good to pass up. I just discovered your channel recently and really enjoy your content. Cheers from Maryland
Thank you! We appreciate your support
I liked it!
The guy who started it was named Dave and he was a good friend of mine.
Not sure if he still has it or not.
Thank you for showing Wichita some love!
I work for an HVAC/R company. We sometimes we have a flatbed trucking company move big things. That could be an option
Awesome! Can't wait to see this come together.
Barr Hill Tom Cat Gin, rested in new American Oak barrels, is very nice & I'm not a big gin drinker.
Congrats! So awesome! 👏👏👏
I’ve worked on that exact still
Can't wait to see what yall come up with, good luck!
Looks like a very similar setup as Proof Distillery in Fargo, ND, they had a smaller still for gin and other spirits as well
If I wasn't already a whiskey-drinker , just listening to T.J tasting these samples would be enough to get me started.
I appreciate that
Hey Tj, I work for a pump company in Bham. We sell food grade CIP pumps, heat exchangers, valves and more. Would love to help if and when you get that far. Love the channel!!
Brewzles very own amburana finished, Dickel forward, light 80 proof bourbon with a 18 month age statement. 😅

Congratulations! That’s a huge step forward. 👍
Congrats B!! This is exciting!
Wheat whiskey and rye make the best whiskey in a home setting! But, I prefer it white!!
Nice hell yeah i always knew you were destined to own a distillery brewzle. Im a winemaker but have worked in breweries and distilleries if you ever need any help whatsoever i am always available.

The gin would make an awesome Holliday gift for a buddy of mine when he returns from his UK trip-
is oak the only wood used for barrels,,,, i think using different types like mesquite, hickory, oak, pecan , and such would open up new flavors,,, dig the vids,,, God bless

Good job
I see "Brewzle Bourbon" in our future ladies and gents! Cheers!
This man is living his best life. I can feel the passion through the screen of my computer!
Wow. Right in my hometown! Super cool.
If you want to drop one of those barrels off here in Oklahoma, on your way back through, I’d be happy to taste test it for you.
congratulations. hope it all goes extremely well. cheers
Congratulations on the milestone achievement!!
If you haven't moved the equipment yet, you just need to find a good Millwright company to transfer equipment from building onto to a flatbed semi and ship her down. Then have another Millwright company set it up in Alabama for ya.
Let’s go! I love watching your vid glad I’m early.
There was a start up distillery/ restaurant that just came up for sale in Cullman,Al 😉
Oh really
Cullman for the win
