15th century Bhakti poet Mahapurush Srimanta Madhavdev, disciple of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev penned some beautiful poetry in Brajavali, the scriptural language of Assam…Naam Ghosha - The sacred scripture of Monikut".
Brahma Adi explains about all the living beings including the lord of creation BRAHMA are sleeping in a dream state being surrounded by Maya. Just as a dreaming man believes in the dream world which is his own creation, the individual self under the influence of māyā forgets its true nature - the pure self, and takes the unreal world, a creation of māyā as real. That is why, He clearly says all that is seen and extended in forms is nothing but an illusion, and as such all of it should be rooted out from the mind. Thus there exists nothing but (Param) Brahman. Param Brahman alone is true in essence, all-pervading, in all space and time.

Even if writing in Assamese language is same all over Assam, the Spoken language differs in different districts. Likewise, Vaishnavite spiritual Hymns - the Ghoxas are also sung differently in different parts of Assam, i.e Upper and Lower Assam as it's actually is an Oral tradition. I respect what my mother used to and still sings. It touches me deep inside.. I don't know why ! I think these Lower Assam Ghoxa singing style should also be recognised.

Sometimes I forget to play this piece... Then it starts ringing inside of me... I open UA-cam, try to remember the name of the song.. surprisingly I forget Everytime.... I try random searches till I find it... Then many things happen.. Sometimes feel joyful, sometimes get astonished by the words, sometimes feel sleepy, sometimes tears come out... I don't search any other piece of Sankardev.. I'll see them slowly... After I fully feel this piece.. I hope everyone one day feel the joy I have found.. realise the message the song conveys... Don't underestimate Sankardev, his words are same as all the famous religious figures... I once underestimated him due to lack of knowledge but after this song no more..
