Every stress point is a potential point of failure, my point was there are a lot of these stress points on this jacking system. That's not to say they any will fail, the welds look like they have good penetration (from what can be see of them of them in this video) and I assume the bolts chosen were high tensile ones with high stress and yield points.
I saw some kind of swivel on end of piston to lift it easier over the dead point. I'm gonna implement it in mine

You can have many stress points, its how many stress points need to fail to make it critical!
