Justice League is a 2017 American superhero film based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name. Produced by RatPac-Dune Entertainment, DC Films, Atlas Entertainment, and Cruel and Unusual Films and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and the follow-up to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Directed by Zack Snyder and written by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, the film features an ensemble cast including Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds. In the film, Batman and Wonder Woman recruit The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg after the death of Superman to save the world from the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.
Warner Bros. began to develop a live-action Justice League film in 2007 with George Miller set to direct, but the project was canceled due to production delays and budgetary concerns. A Justice League film would re-enter development as part of Warner Bros' upcoming DC film slate in October 2014, with Snyder on board to direct and Terrio attached to write the script. Principal photography took place from April to October 2016. After Snyder stepped down from the film following the death of his daughter, Whedon was hired to oversee the remainder of post-production, including writing and directing additional scenes, as well as reshooting a large portion of the film, which changed many aspects of it; Snyder ultimately retained sole credit as director. With an estimated production budget of $300 million, Justice League is one of the most expensive films ever made.
Justice League premiered in Los Angeles on November 13, 2017, and was released in the United States on November 17, 2017. The film grossed over $657 million worldwide against a break-even point of $750 million, becoming a box office bomb and losing Warner Bros. Pictures an estimated $60 million. The film received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the cast performances but criticized the plot, pacing, and computer-generated imagery. Its tone was met with a polarized reception, with some appreciating the lighter tone compared to previous DCEU films and others finding it inconsistent. In the wake of its release, fans began to push for the release of Snyder's original version of the film; Warner Bros. decided to move forward with the project in February 2020. It was released as Zack Snyder's Justice League on HBO Max on March 18, 2021.

besides christopher reeves i feel henry cavil played the second best superman but im suprised henry is not going to be in superman legacy. got mixed feelings about this movie when it comes out.

All watch Deadpool and Crevan but I'll pass on the rest. Maybe Blade, but it's hard to replace Wesley Snipes. He just brought so much to that character.

A superhero movie does not have to be about the superhero in order to be a superhero movie it just has to be about the superheroes world, which makes joker in its own right a superhero movie solely based on the fact that it's about Batman's world

Absolutely! I sincerely do not understand how or why they would recast her, she is absolute perfection for that role; she completely made that role hers and I simply cannot imagine anyone else playing Wonder Woman.

Problem is .. Disney/MCU...and to a lesser extent Warner/DC...have been making stuff they want us to see. Not what we want to see.

It's the relatively moderate and conservative parents that read comics when they were kids that are buying the tickets and subscribing to the streaming services.
Note#2... Get back to basics and keep a strong continuity. Stop letting writers/directors have free reign. This screws everything up to no end. And fans HATE that.

As a kid I was hammering through my ‘marvels and my DCs’ just hoping that one day there would be a ‘secret wars’ movie. Thing is everything in the Marvelous building up to this ‘monumental’ instalment and it’s just got beyond an exercise in utter tedium I’m just fed up to the back teeth of marvel studios’ green screen lacklustre blockbusters.
No more of this sheer shit ile stick where I belong with D.C. I just loved movies untill ‘disneys hostile takeover of the cineplexes the world over

If I'm being honest you all can look forward to all the superhero movies as much as you want I personally have no interest or want for any of them they have all just gone down the crapper since phase 1

* Not a Joaquin Phoenix fan. ( Although he did do a good job as Johnny Cash ). And don't give a damn about Lady Gaga.
* Burned out on The Crow. It's overdone.
* Getting bored with both Deadpool and Wolverine.
* Venom... I like Venom and will probably watch it at the cinema when it shows.
* Kraven... Read plenty of Kraven in Spiderman titles as a kid. He was ok as a "B" villain.. Not much interest from me.
* Aztec Batman.... Really no interest.
* Watchmen... Loved the film as a stand alone "Else Worlds" universe. Hate what DC has done with them since. No interest at all.
* Captain America... Yes. Again. I will watch it at the cinema. I like Cap. And Bucky and Sam and hope to see more of some other characters.
* Fantastic 4... Yes. An old favorite.
* Gunn's Superman... Definite Yes.
* Thunderbolts... Never read any of them... Just going on what I've heard over many years... Definite Yes.
* Blade... Not hyped for it... But depending on what I hear... Maybe.
* Spiderverse... No. It's for kids.
Spiderverse movies are some of the best Spiderman movies, not just animated Spiderman, Spiderman period, not even close to being for kids...
