this show really showed how abusive relationships can develop from just one small thing, it also shows amazing character development throughtout seaon 1 and 2, i'd rewatch this show any day, amazing acting

Exactly. I'm just back from watching the final episode of youth. Perhaps since the Chinese version is an adaptation and this is the original, the Chinese director must be so determined to give a better performance for people to appreciate. Cuz this is the first version. People would have enjoyed it a lot and that's why it became famous for it to be adapted in China. So people shouldn't say "Korean was so much better, why did they even adapt this?" I'm saying all this because i saw behind the scenes of Youth and the director was such a perfectionist. He made them act multiple cuts for a single simple shot. So I'm sure he must have felt determined to give china the best version. Also Youth is the first chinese drama I've ever watched completely and i loved it so so so much. Though the credits to the story and dialogues belong to the orginal writer I really loved the Chinese version
I even thought to an extent that the faces the director chose for each character perfectly matched in chinese version. 100%. Their faces matched soooo well to their personality. Here i cant find much difference between the girls at all. Yitong perfectly fitted her bubbliness and swag. Shengnan perfectly suited for her dull but brave role. Xiaochun perfectly matched her dumb role with her funny front bang. And the rest of the girls too.. After watching few episodes I thought even if one character was switched between two girls, it wouldn't be complete at all. I can't imagine yitong playing shengnan's role and vice versa. So we can imagine how perfect the director chose. I'm not here to praise the Chinese version under the Korean channel's comment section. It's just that I've been wanting to tell all this somewhere and i found a place here. Also there's always this "first impression effect". Once you looked at something and loved it , you cannot get that satisfaction even if you look at hundreds of other versions. Similarly those who watched Korean version first might not like chinese version much. And vice versa is my case. Also it's my first complete chinese drama too.. so i really loved all those actors, their acting, faces, characters..

Because he asked about it but she did it finally, SHE left HIM, so that hurt his ego. She really liked him so he had control over her, and he lost that control. He never liked her like a person just as an object.
