  • @leonardceres9061
    @leonardceres9061 4 місяці тому

    One thing Jay said is that he does calves on his chest day, which is about every five days or so. That means he is probably doing a bro split.
    A lot of people talk about hitting your body parts multiple times a week. I feel like if you have a really good chest day, or arm day. And you really hit the muscles properly and beat the hell out of yourself., there is no way you are going to be able to hit that muscle again specifically more than once a week. Maybe a light set day if anything but it has to be after day 4 past that training day.
    for example, I hit arms on Monday. On Wednesday they are still sore as shit.
    So maybe Saturday if they feel better, I will do a workout routine, which incorporate some arm movements hitting the biceps and triceps, but I won’t go real heavy. It will just be a few sets light to moderate weight.
    Then I’ll have another day on Monday.

Standing calf raises on the smith machine or SCR machine were bothering my mid back so I started doing single leg calf raises holding a 45 lb plate on the side of the leg I was working and holding the side of the smith machine with the other hand for balance. My gym has a step about the height of a red brick that's perfect. If I'm feeling strong I'll do 50 or 55 lb dumbbell. Never found anything that hits the calves better.

If your goal is to grow calves use a stairmaster and try to walk on your toes for 15 minutes every other day or everyday. Dont go over 15 minutes.
