We should explore the oceans too! There's probably even more surface area and interesting things to explore, although re-visiting the Moon sounds good of course.

I heard recently that the reason for not returning is the highly electrostatically charged sand and grit and low gravity make gritty abrasive particles stick to air seals and hatches and suit joints and sockets . Grinding and leaking and there is no air to discharge any of it like here on earth . Whole new way of dealing with the electric problem had to be developed .

As such, I think film stock imaging - even though it was of high quality in its day -- is slightly different to modern digital cameras. If you've never caught on to that, then bloody hell, we ARE finished!
