They hit a home run when they found Alaqua. She was so great in Hawkeye and I can’t wait to see more of her as Maya. Also would love to see an Echo/Ms. Marvel team up. The clash of styles between the 2 characters would be great to see.

Surely, the dream teamup would somehow get her and Makkari together, it would be great for Marvel fans, and inspiring for deaf people in general, to see them both interact.

1:39 ooo did she just spoil that Echo is in fact gonna have powers when Marvel Studios initially said way back that she'd be more grounded?! haha I think to me it looks like Alaqua mouthed "Maya has family that'll help her with her powers..." hey, you know what, I am already excited for Alaqua and the character. MCU Echo is already a great fighter but she does have that photographic memory ability of copying fighting styles (similar to Taskmaster) or reading lips from far in the comics that she would probably learn from her family or that they would open up in her in ECHO tv series. Can't wait for January :) Alaqua/Echo is a breath of fresh air to the MCU, similar to Iman/Ms. Marvel.
