Our first president, Mr. Soekarno, he wanted to make a friends with many countries so, Indonesia could increased our economic and social walfare. Indonesia stimulated many countries to declare their independent. At that time, USA and EUROPE were bussy to prepare their aggression to their ex colonial lands and hoped they can take it back. But, Indonesia, we supported the independent for them. And communist countries like soviet and north Korea, they didn't focus to attack new countries at that time like Indonesia or countries in africa. That's why Indonesia could make a good relationship with them. I hope it's answer your correction about Indonesian relationship with North Korea. We're Indonesians we're not Communists and we have a good Democration our country.
