Virtue this, ruined that, yet they’d all be so bored if everyone was perfect. Anyway the only people permanently tarnished by their scandals coming to light in Whistledown are the ones like Nigel Berbrook who truly deserved it. Daphne got to be the diamond and marry for love, and I think Eloise and Colin will be doing just fine and should thank her really.
Penelope brings to mind the Asian proverb "A capable/clever/talented hawk hides its talons." This has two meanings: 1) to hide ones abilities until the time is right. 2) stay humble; talented people don't need to show off. I like to add a third - making your moves in silence. Although partly out of necessity for various reasons, she doesn't draw attention to herself or announce her achievements. If asked, she might say but otherwise one would never know. She does show her intelligence in other ways by reading books and her witty remarks but no one pays attention. By keeping quiet and hiding her identity, she has less resistance, obstacles and interference; when one builds in silence, people don't know what/who to attack. Also she has no influence and demands on the fruits of her labors outside her own goals because she knows full well her blessings isn't for everyone to enjoy, thanks to her family.
I love the actual book version because we don't see that she's lady whistledown until Colin Bridgerton (her future husband) catches her. And suddenly bam! Lady whistledown has new meaning and you just can't help going back through to read the other books to catch something you have missed because what!?
I think also one reason why she focuses on prudence and philippa is because they were the older ones. Unlike penelope who's still young, philippa and prudence were at the verge of becoming spinsters.(good thing philippa got married.) Now, her main concern is prudence, her eldest.

Honestly I don’t get ppl who don’t adore Penelope. Even the actress who plays her says in interviews she thinks Penelope makes questionable decisions, and will have a lot to answer for or apologize for later and I 1000% disagree. Lady Whistledown and everything she’s accomplished is something to be proud of, not ashamed. And even the harsher things she’s printed that have affected Colin and Eloise, she did for their own good. Exactly. Eloise never had it rough unlike Penelope. Yes, there's the noticeable in inequality and double standards between men and women. However compared to Penelope, her family position and predicament, her family's and society's treatment of her, etc. Eloise has it easy. It's probably because of her hardships that Penelope is more motivated to build a business in order to get out and away from her family and London society which requires money if she doesn't marry which appears less likely. Eloise and Colin were the reasons she stayed but since it appears she doesn't have them for the time being, the gloves are off.

Glad I found this comment. I thought i was the only one who saw eloise for the entitled princess she is. Eloise is rude, careless, tactless and priviledged. She wants to be her own woman but i doubt she realises that being independent and different also means possibly hurting her family in the eyes of society. Yes, the society she lives in is restrictive and unfair but she needs to realise that she is in a way better position than most people because of her rich family, yet she whines the loudest. @mayPen chose what she knew would make money which serves her goal of getting away from her family. As an established writer, she can always change her area of writing. If her family knew about it, they'd most likely milk her for everything. I'm sure she's thought about using the money for her family but then she's reminded of how her ties with them is blood only. I'm sure she would have found a way to be her family's secret benefactor but there was a new head of the family that was supposed to provide for her, her mother and sisters.

Penelope may have done some bad things, but she's a girlboss. She's so intelligent and cunning. Using her position as a wallflower in society, and even in her own family, to her advantage. Nobody hears her voice, so she found a way to make it heard. She dose also have a genuinely kind and caring side to her. Lady whisteldown is almost like a separate personality. I understand why some people don't like her, but you gotta admit she's at least interesting! I'm excited to see how she develops as a charecter in the future. I also really hope she makes up with Eloise, and apologies for hurting her and her family. :')

Penelope Featherington is on another level, Nicola Coughlan is on another level. The amount of love and admiration I have for this person is astronomical. If I needed only one reason to watch Bridgerton it would be to fall to my knees to the beauty that is Nicola.
Penelope is the awesomest. Brave, smart, witty and observant. With her Mom, their family without a male in the household who's looking after them (for the time period, that meant they were as close to low as they could get. No security.) Penelope did what she had to do for her own security. I'll never fault her for that. She's by far the most interesting character in the series.
The showrunners have mentioned that they are not going to follow the books and all that they contain and they have proven that. What I really want to see is some competion for her affection in her and Colin's season. And I want a standing ovation to be included when it is revealed she is Lady Whitsldown because she DESERVES that much. Love this video great job.
Probably unpopular opinion, but I don't want their story to conclude in marriage in the show. I really hope Pen can have some independence, live alone, enjoy the fruits of her work as Lady Whistledown.
I love Penelope so much. She has a whole business in a time where women had very little agency. The whole reason why she's able to be Lady Whistledown is because she's overlooked by everyone in society. I can't help but root for her.
Penelope was always an outsider and she became the center of attention with her own way. I agree that they made her look bad last season but she wanted to protect her best friend. And nobody ever treated her like she deserved to do more.
This is the first thing that has ever tempted me to consider watching Bridgerton. I hope Penelope is a significant figure and that these clips are not all we see of her.
Oh no she really quite prominent though the show suffers from following to many amny characters, but I will warn you there isn't really enough of her in season one
The story from the show is following along with the story in the books. I don't know how closely it is following them, but that does mean that there we should (Hopefully?) get one glorious season where Penelope is a main-ish character. (The books called "Romancing Mr Bridgerton")

Penelope is now my favorite character after this season. I loved her in the first but I love her more now. I liked Eloise, but after this season I like her a little less. Instead of sitting down calmly with her best friend and going into details about things she sat there and accused her of only thinking of herself which is the farthest from the truth
Unfortunately Eloise is currently of the mindset that her way of thinking is only one that matters. Contradictory of her claims that a woman's thoughts counts when she won't ever hear out her own friend.

I mean she and Penelope have been best friends for a long time, they are practically sisters, and from all she has seen of Penelope there is no way Penelope would do something just to hurt her or just to protect herself, Eloise was more upset over losing her friendship with Tom Sharpe, a guy she barely knew, compared to a lifelong sister. I loved Eloise and stuff, but it's like she is very lucky and privileged and can't seem to understand/see that. Sure it's hard being under the public eye as a noble, especially in one of the most prominent families, but Eloise has a loving family, and Penelope doesn't, to Penelope she is family. So there is no way Penelope would do something out of spite or malice towards her, she did it to protect her in the long run.

Penelope has repeatedly told her in various ways that Eloise has it easier than her but Eloise doesn't truly listen to it. Eloise can be the way she is because of the security her family's provided her all her life, not just the position the Bridgertons have in the ton so it's easy to judge when she's never had to do without. Penelope, on the other hand, grew up with an absent father who played with the family's financial security (I wouldn't be surprised if she was aware of his gambling and saw the writing on the wall), a judgmental and nontolerant yet emotionally neglectful mother who dotes more on her two older snobbish sisters. She has more reason to cherish the good people in her life which were the Bridgertons. Eloise hasn't really learned to cherish her family or her friendship because she always had them. She's well-read and articulate but not as smart as she likes to believe she is Compared to Penelope whose more observant therefore more emotionally intelligent and empathetic and a shrewd businesswoman. Pride and other feelings is going stop Eloise from seeing past her own position. Perhaps next season Kate, who has a similar view about rights of women, might provide an outside perspective because like Penelope, she had to do without for a great deal of her life and also did something deceitful but for the benefit of her mother and sister's future well-being and was resented for a time by them. I wonder how Eloise will react when she realizes that she acted like the other debutantes because she valued the company of a man she barely knew over her longtime friend. Yes, Theo was a man who wasn’t comparing her to Daphne but she knew the dangers she was courting seeking him but that's what ultimately got her in trouble, both direct and indirectly.

I think from what I read online that Eloise will end up with sir Philip crane in the future so I don't know if Theo will be in the next season or not. In addition Colin and Penelope will eventually get together, but from what I read online I'm not sure if the next season will focus on Benedict and his love interest or Colin and Penelope. As cool as Benedict is I honestly hope the third season focuses more on Penelope and Colin. It saddened me though what he said at the end of season two to the other gentlemen about Penelope, like I honestly think she is beautiful and he has to be blind not to see that. When she was exposed, she could have use that to her advantage to stand by what she said about female empowerment and freedom. I love them both honestly, and their friendship breakup is my biggest heartbreak of the show. But Eloise is basically that trust fund nepo baby, who goes to Africa on one of those voluntourism tours that do more good than bad, and leads demonstrations wearing designer clothing and stirs up trouble that gets them arrested--she gets bailed out by her family while her working class allies sit in detention. That kind of privileged girl who plays at being a liberal and socialist while benefiting off her family's wealth and connections. Meanwhile, Penelope is the black sheep who despises her bougie, social-climbing family's pretenses and actually WORKS. She rubs elbows with the working class and talks and interacts with them, she knows they're usually invisible to the Ton because she's also invisible. While Eloise talks about independence, Penelope is already doing things, becoming a woman who can live on her own and stand on her two feet.
this! she was exposed for being a "political radical" aka running in feminist circles. which is exactly what she lectures everyone else about. instead of standing by what she believes, she blames penelope (when that was literally the least terrible thing that could have happened to her. like the queen literally thought she was lady whistledown bc of her recklessness.) it's as if eloise expected penelope to hurt herself for her benefit... literally no one would do that. i can't even get mad at penelope when it comes to the marina situation. she was entitled and rude to everyone all the time. she didn't love colin. she felt no remorse when she was lying to him. she was very careless and she was unnecessarily spiteful towards everyone. i feel bad for her situation but i also hated how she acted towards everyone. like be honest, if you knew that your best friend + someone you love was going to get manipulated into a marriage with a family member you just met?? like you would be okay with that??? a lot of the hatred towards pen is ridiculous. like you can feel bad for marina's situation while also seeing that she was being selfish and had no right to do what she did to colin. penelope wasn't in the wrong.

I was genuinely rooting for her even before it became clear that she's Lady Whistledown. Penelope's character is very well-written and describes a naturally powerful woman, especially for that time period.

I love Pen. As anyone else would think there were sometimes you wonder if she could have taken another course of action but she took harder routes. People were upset about her outing Marina in Season 1 in the end it felt like there was no other choice in the end. She did try to talk to Colin but he was blinded by infatuation. Marina started to think like Lady Featherington in doing anything to secure a future and not really caring about Colin. Some people think Marina was starting to care for Colin in the end and she may have formed a friendship but would she really have been happy and would Colin have been happy with her. I mean there were would have still been a scandal in the end by how quickly she gave birth. There are are a lot of what ifs with that storyline if they had gone down that road but it was never meant to be as Pen and Colin were to end up together. In the second season she didn't really ding anyone else except for Eloise and thought it hurt the most, at that point there was no other way. If the queen wasn't going to believe Eloise just telling her she wasn't Lady Whistledown, her just trying to print stuff in the Queen's favor, pretending to be LW, was just going to basically confirm it. The Queen would have also tried to continue to use Eloise constantly for her favor, you know that it wouldn't have ended with just one favor. Though the horrible print has cost her a friendship I do think there is more to just printing gossip that Pen gets. Also something tells me that Pen needs the money more than anyone is ever going to realize until maybe season 3 or 4. Her family's fortune was wasted by her father, only earned back by the conning of her mother, and if anyone somehow finds out how horrible her mother is, her family will be on the outs again. Eloise is lucky enough to always have her family, no matter what happens, but I think that Lady Featherington wouldn't be to far gone to try and get Penelope taken care of by another old man with money and she would have been miserable.

For being a so called “wallflower,” she’s actually the most brilliant woman in the ton. She’s riveted the whole of London, making all of them, including the Queen, hang off of her every word.
I think it will be either Francesca or Benedict. They just switched to a new actress as Francesca for Season 3. The 3rd book is Benedict but perhaps they haven’t found the right Sophia. And Francesca’s story is the 6th book in the series though there would be time jumps with her story.
We need a season solely based on whistledown/penelope from when she first started off, how she started to get published, how she planned everything out. I don’t know about anyone else but the whistledown aspect of the show is like the best aspect cuz it’s so seductive in the way word have the ultimate power, hell! There’s definitely jealousy on Eloise’s part. I mean she adored and admired lady whistledown and was going down a horrible path, in trying to find out who she is. Penelope tried her hardest to help the people she loves safe and it makes me so sad that it’s the reversal here than in the books because Eloise was such a supporter. But if it were smooth sailings the whole way, then tv wouldn’t be great or fun to watch, isn’t it? But I love all the actors on Bridgerton, Nicola is fantastic, I keep being in wonder that she’s actually 35 and I love her chemistry with Claudia and Luke! Cant wait for season three, so happy they skipped Benedict (for now).

Well I like her character ..I want a female lead which has some faults and has grey shades which she will overcome to become more improved version of her rather than a perfect good dove like female .she will have real arch .and she is very relatable because we all feel jealous even we deny it and might some people choose wrong methods to vent out their frustration . Penelope is being subconsciously taking revenge on the community which always marginalised her by revealing their dirty laundering ..it is her way to laugh off this society which laughs at her appearance
I always knew there was something more to Penelope in Season one but the big giveaway for me and many others was the expose she did on Ms Thompson. Like Eloise said the exposing felt personal almost vindictive. Penelope's character is one of my favorites in the show because shes the most "Human" character. She is kind but she is not charitable, she is clever and intelligent but she can also be irrational at times. She can be selfless and self serving all the same. I cannot wait to see where season 3 goes with her story.
Bridgerton takes Julia Quinn’s characters, gives them more breadth & depth, & hires the best cast. Nicola & Luke are brilliant & despite being in a fairy tale very relatable. True of the whole cast really.

Exactly. Eloise never had it rough unlike Penelope. Yes, there's the noticeable in inequality and double standards between men and women. However compared to Penelope, her family position and predicament, her family's and society's treatment of her, etc. Eloise has it easy. It's probably because of her hardships that Penelope is more motivated to build a business in order to get out and away from her family and London society which requires money if she doesn't marry which appears less likely. Eloise and Colin were the reasons she stayed but since it appears she doesn't have them for the time being, the gloves are off.

Glad I found this comment. I thought i was the only one who saw eloise for the entitled princess she is. Eloise is rude, careless, tactless and priviledged. She wants to be her own woman but i doubt she realises that being independent and different also means possibly hurting her family in the eyes of society. Yes, the society she lives in is restrictive and unfair but she needs to realise that she is in a way better position than most people because of her rich family, yet she whines the loudest. Iike penn said in season one, "not everyone can be a pretty bridgerton."
@mayPen chose what she knew would make money which serves her goal of getting away from her family. As an established writer, she can always change her area of writing. If her family knew about it, they'd most likely milk her for everything. I'm sure she's thought about using the money for her family but then she's reminded of how her ties with them is blood only. I'm sure she would have found a way to be her family's secret benefactor but there was a new head of the family that was supposed to provide for her, her mother and sisters.

Penelope may have done some bad things, but she's a girlboss. She's so intelligent and cunning. Using her position as a wallflower in society, and even in her own family, to her advantage. Nobody hears her voice, so she found a way to make it heard. She dose also have a genuinely kind and caring side to her. Lady whisteldown is almost like a separate personality. I understand why some people don't like her, but you gotta admit she's at least interesting! I'm excited to see how she develops as a charecter in the future. I also really hope she makes up with Eloise, and apologies for hurting her and her family. :')

Penelope Featherington is on another level, Nicola Coughlan is on another level. The amount of love and admiration I have for this person is astronomical. If I needed only one reason to watch Bridgerton it would be to fall to my knees to the beauty that is Nicola.

Penelope is the awesomest. Brave, smart, witty and observant. With her Mom, their family without a male in the household who's looking after them (for the time period, that meant they were as close to low as they could get. No security.) Penelope did what she had to do for her own security. I'll never fault her for that. She's by far the most interesting character in the series.
The showrunners have mentioned that they are not going to follow the books and all that they contain and they have proven that. What I really want to see is some competion for her affection in her and Colin's season. And I want a standing ovation to be included when it is revealed she is Lady Whitsldown because she DESERVES that much. Love this video great job.
Probably unpopular opinion, but I don't want their story to conclude in marriage in the show. I really hope Pen can have some independence, live alone, enjoy the fruits of her work as Lady Whistledown.

I love Penelope so much. She has a whole business in a time where women had very little agency. The whole reason why she's able to be Lady Whistledown is because she's overlooked by everyone in society. I can't help but root for her.
Penelope was always an outsider and she became the center of attention with her own way. I agree that they made her look bad last season but she wanted to protect her best friend. And nobody ever treated her like she deserved to do more.

The story from the show is following along with the story in the books. I don't know how closely it is following them, but that does mean that there we should (Hopefully?) get one glorious season where Penelope is a main-ish character. (The books called "Romancing Mr Bridgerton")

Penelope is now my favorite character after this season. I loved her in the first but I love her more now. I liked Eloise, but after this season I like her a little less. Instead of sitting down calmly with her best friend and going into details about things she sat there and accused her of only thinking of herself which is the farthest from the truth
Unfortunately Eloise is currently of the mindset that her way of thinking is only one that matters. Contradictory of her claims that a woman's thoughts counts when she won't ever hear out her own friend.

I mean she and Penelope have been best friends for a long time, they are practically sisters, and from all she has seen of Penelope there is no way Penelope would do something just to hurt her or just to protect herself, Eloise was more upset over losing her friendship with Tom Sharpe, a guy she barely knew, compared to a lifelong sister.
I loved Eloise and stuff, but it's like she is very lucky and privileged and can't seem to understand/see that. Sure it's hard being under the public eye as a noble, especially in one of the most prominent families, but Eloise has a loving family, and Penelope doesn't, to Penelope she is family. So there is no way Penelope would do something out of spite or malice towards her, she did it to protect her in the long run.

Penelope has repeatedly told her in various ways that Eloise has it easier than her but Eloise doesn't truly listen to it. Eloise can be the way she is because of the security her family's provided her all her life, not just the position the Bridgertons have in the ton so it's easy to judge when she's never had to do without. Penelope, on the other hand, grew up with an absent father who played with the family's financial security (I wouldn't be surprised if she was aware of his gambling and saw the writing on the wall), a judgmental and nontolerant yet emotionally neglectful mother who dotes more on her two older snobbish sisters. She has more reason to cherish the good people in her life which were the Bridgertons. Eloise hasn't really learned to cherish her family or her friendship because she always had them.
She's well-read and articulate but not as smart as she likes to believe she is Compared to Penelope whose more observant therefore more emotionally intelligent and empathetic and a shrewd businesswoman.
Pride and other feelings is going stop Eloise from seeing past her own position. Perhaps next season Kate, who has a similar view about rights of women, might provide an outside perspective because like Penelope, she had to do without for a great deal of her life and also did something deceitful but for the benefit of her mother and sister's future well-being and was resented for a time by them.
I wonder how Eloise will react when she realizes that she acted like the other debutantes because she valued the company of a man she barely knew over her longtime friend. Yes, Theo was a man who wasn’t comparing her to Daphne but she knew the dangers she was courting seeking him but that's what ultimately got her in trouble, both direct and indirectly.

I think from what I read online that Eloise will end up with sir Philip crane in the future so I don't know if Theo will be in the next season or not. In addition Colin and Penelope will eventually get together, but from what I read online I'm not sure if the next season will focus on Benedict and his love interest or Colin and Penelope. As cool as Benedict is I honestly hope the third season focuses more on Penelope and Colin. It saddened me though what he said at the end of season two to the other gentlemen about Penelope, like I honestly think she is beautiful and he has to be blind not to see that. Like everyone in the show is lovely looking but Penelope is just radiant.

In the books, she gives it to her mother by saying it is part of an inheritance from a late aunt.

Eloise is a hypocrite to me. She's like a rich brat spouting ideals because it makes her look "modern". When she was exposed, she could have use that to her advantage to stand by what she said about female empowerment and freedom. Instead she chose to be a coward and tries to blame her friend for her cowardice. Honestly, Pen has always looked out for her and has her best interest at heart but what good advice has Eloise ever given her? #teampenelope
I love them both honestly, and their friendship breakup is my biggest heartbreak of the show. But Eloise is basically that trust fund nepo baby, who goes to Africa on one of those voluntourism tours that do more good than bad, and leads demonstrations wearing designer clothing and stirs up trouble that gets them arrested--she gets bailed out by her family while her working class allies sit in detention. That kind of privileged girl who plays at being a liberal and socialist while benefiting off her family's wealth and connections. Meanwhile, Penelope is the black sheep who despises her bougie, social-climbing family's pretenses and actually WORKS. She rubs elbows with the working class and talks and interacts with them, she knows they're usually invisible to the Ton because she's also invisible. While Eloise talks about independence, Penelope is already doing things, becoming a woman who can live on her own and stand on her two feet.
this! she was exposed for being a "political radical" aka running in feminist circles. which is exactly what she lectures everyone else about. instead of standing by what she believes, she blames penelope (when that was literally the least terrible thing that could have happened to her. like the queen literally thought she was lady whistledown bc of her recklessness.) it's as if eloise expected penelope to hurt herself for her benefit... literally no one would do that. i can't even get mad at penelope when it comes to the marina situation. she was entitled and rude to everyone all the time. she didn't love colin. she felt no remorse when she was lying to him. she was very careless and she was unnecessarily spiteful towards everyone. i feel bad for her situation but i also hated how she acted towards everyone. like be honest, if you knew that your best friend + someone you love was going to get manipulated into a marriage with a family member you just met?? like you would be okay with that??? a lot of the hatred towards pen is ridiculous. like you can feel bad for marina's situation while also seeing that she was being selfish and had no right to do what she did to colin. penelope wasn't in the wrong.

I love Pen. As anyone else would think there were sometimes you wonder if she could have taken another course of action but she took harder routes.
People were upset about her outing Marina in Season 1 in the end it felt like there was no other choice in the end. She did try to talk to Colin but he was blinded by infatuation. Marina started to think like Lady Featherington in doing anything to secure a future and not really caring about Colin. Some people think Marina was starting to care for Colin in the end and she may have formed a friendship but would she really have been happy and would Colin have been happy with her. I mean there were would have still been a scandal in the end by how quickly she gave birth. There are are a lot of what ifs with that storyline if they had gone down that road but it was never meant to be as Pen and Colin were to end up together.
In the second season she didn't really ding anyone else except for Eloise and thought it hurt the most, at that point there was no other way. If the queen wasn't going to believe Eloise just telling her she wasn't Lady Whistledown, her just trying to print stuff in the Queen's favor, pretending to be LW, was just going to basically confirm it. The Queen would have also tried to continue to use Eloise constantly for her favor, you know that it wouldn't have ended with just one favor.
Though the horrible print has cost her a friendship I do think there is more to just printing gossip that Pen gets.
Also something tells me that Pen needs the money more than anyone is ever going to realize until maybe season 3 or 4. Her family's fortune was wasted by her father, only earned back by the conning of her mother, and if anyone somehow finds out how horrible her mother is, her family will be on the outs again.
Eloise is lucky enough to always have her family, no matter what happens, but I think that Lady Featherington wouldn't be to far gone to try and get Penelope taken care of by another old man with money and she would have been miserable.

My favorite characters are the ones who are multi layered, with so many hidden facets yet to be uncovered. Hence, Penelope is my favorite on Bridgerton. For being a so called “wallflower,” she’s actually the most brilliant woman in the ton. She’s riveted the whole of London, making all of them, including the Queen, hang off of her every word.

I think it will be either Francesca or Benedict. They just switched to a new actress as Francesca for Season 3. The 3rd book is Benedict but perhaps they haven’t found the right Sophia. And Francesca’s story is the 6th book in the series though there would be time jumps with her story.
We need a season solely based on whistledown/penelope from when she first started off, how she started to get published, how she planned everything out. I don’t know about anyone else but the whistledown aspect of the show is like the best aspect cuz it’s so seductive in the way word have the ultimate power, hell! There’s definitely jealousy on Eloise’s part. I mean she adored and admired lady whistledown and was going down a horrible path, in trying to find out who she is. Penelope tried her hardest to help the people she loves safe and it makes me so sad that it’s the reversal here than in the books because Eloise was such a supporter. But if it were smooth sailings the whole way, then tv wouldn’t be great or fun to watch, isn’t it? But I love all the actors on Bridgerton, Nicola is fantastic, I keep being in wonder that she’s actually 35 and I love her chemistry with Claudia and Luke! Cant wait for season three, so happy they skipped Benedict (for now).

Well I like her character ..I want a female lead which has some faults and has grey shades which she will overcome to become more improved version of her rather than a perfect good dove like female .she will have real arch .and she is very relatable because we all feel jealous even we deny it and might some people choose wrong methods to vent out their frustration . Penelope is being subconsciously taking revenge on the community which always marginalised her by revealing their dirty laundering ..it is her way to laugh off this society which laughs at her appearance

i love her no matter what
I always knew there was something more to Penelope in Season one but the big giveaway for me and many others was the expose she did on Ms Thompson. Like Eloise said the exposing felt personal almost vindictive. Penelope's character is one of my favorites in the show because shes the most "Human" character. She is kind but she is not charitable, she is clever and intelligent but she can also be irrational at times. She can be selfless and self serving all the same. I cannot wait to see where season 3 goes with her story.
Bridgerton takes Julia Quinn’s characters, gives them more breadth & depth, & hires the best cast. Nicola & Luke are brilliant & despite being in a fairy tale very relatable. True of the whole cast really.
