EL-Nino Effect On Indian Monsoon
एल नीनो गर्म जलधारा पेरू के पश्चिम तट से दिसंबर माह में प्रारंभ होती हैI यह उष्णकटिबंधीय चक्रवात द्वारा इंडोनेशिया तक लाई जाती हैंI वहां इसे केल्विन कहा जाता हैI हिंद महासागर में पहुंचकर वह जल को गर्म कर भारत की ग्रीष्मकालीन मानसून को कमजोर कर देती हैI
पेरू के तट से चलने वाली ठंडी जल की धारा है। जो हिंद महासागर के जल के ताप को घटाकर मानसून को तीव्र करती है। इंडोनेशिया से अधः सतही विपरीत प्रशांत विषुवतीय धारा से पेरू के पश्चिम तट पर अपवेलिंग होती है।
EL-Nino is a warm water ocean current starting from West coast in December. driven by tropical cyclone it reaches Indonesia called Kelvin. Reaches in Indian ocean increase temperature and weakness summer monsoon.
Contrary to it La-Nina strengthens monsoon.
Sub surface counter equatorial Pacific current cause upwelling along west coast of Peru.
