@@Zontar82 for GTA 5 they were aiming for a less dark theme (maybe bc of the setting too) but gta 6 could still have a deeper story like vice city. And even with the sunny setting of Leonida, it can still have a dark and meaningful story. Also, stories of games are generally written very early on in development, which means maybe the story was already written or halfway through being written before they left, so they might've had some say in it before leaving. I do hope they can pull it off

Each GTA has their charm and i agree. GTA III was the entry of the GTA series into a 3D world GTA VC was really good at depicting the 80s GTA SA had a HUGE open world GTA IV had a really good storyline GTA V was colorful and had a better improved gameplay.

The reason why GTA 4 theme sounds so dark and depressing compared to those of the other GTA games is that there is no happy ending to Niko's story... If he chooses to be a criminal forever, his girlfriend dumps him and his cousin gets killed from one of his associates who betrays him (Dimitri). If he decides to change life and live like a normal person with Kate as his girlfriend, the mob boss Jimmy Pegorino won't allow him to just walk away from criminal life, and as a payback he will kill Kate. Niko will eventually get his revenge on the killer of his cousin/girlfriend but he will still lose one of the persons he cared the most in the game. Either way it is a tragic end to a tragic character considering all the dramatic events Niko went through before the game (the war) and during the game itself. And that's why GTA 4 is by far the most serious and realistic game in the series, not to mention the best one for the story.

A perfect adult themed video game is where Crime, violence, drama, action, storytelling all these takes place but at the end of it they "teach" you something which you will remember for the rest of your life and bring awareness it about the real world. Gta San Andreas and IV focuses on character development and Storytelling with life lessons for it's audience therefore they hold a special place in my heart.

What matters more is your CPU and RAM, and GTA 4 is a piece of cake for modern CPUs and RAM. Just a quick reminder, GTA4 was released when mainly everyone was still using DDR2 since faster DDR3 just came out in 2007 and not everyone had those. Now nearly everyone has even more faster DDR4 RAM that loads data much faster.

Soviet Connection is a perfectly crafted piece of music. So nice that we're willing to spend 2 minutes listening it while the game is loading. Something that can't be said about GTASA or GTAV.

@@jitr_bodki4268 cuz hdd or ssd don't really matter in loading times, it is mostly a hoax with minimal impact. What matters more is your CPU and RAM, and GTA 4 is a piece of cake for modern CPUs and RAM. Just a quick reminder, GTA4 was released when mainly everyone was still using DDR2 since faster DDR3 just came out in 2007 and not everyone had those. Now nearly everyone has even more faster DDR4 RAM that loads data much faster.

Actually the atmosphere was dark and foggy even on sunshine...the main weather was usually foggy and cloudy and made the missions look like quiet assassinations on a rainy evening...i first played it back in 2010 in autumn and i was 14 years old....oh the Memories!!
