I love it....Thankyou . Judge Bullingham is my favourite. He throws his glasses on in irritation regarding Rumpole. Fantastic actors here and the writings of the brilliant writer John Mortimer. Thanks again, John (Australia)
Mine as well. I just love his mannerisms and the voice of irritation. He throws his glasses in response to how irritating he finds Rumpole. A brilliant set of actors and the best writer in John Mortimer.
In fact it would be Charles Murray Murray-Aynsley, Hyne only took office in 36. However the whig would have belonged to neither since it was from an ex-chief justice and only obtained in 1932, so it would have to be from one of their predecesors.

Rumpole is the best ever. I have every book and episode
Leo was outstanding in OREILLY, ACE OF SPIES
Absolutely lovely.
Great to see Rumpole content! Do give us more!
See lots more on “opium” utube channel.
I’m trying to think which is more funny if it’s the echoing of his thoughts or the delivery to the judge 😂😂
Bullingham, J., is my favorite.
He is great, but my my favorite is Judge Graves.

he shined in an episode of RIPPING YARNS, by Micheal alin & Terry Jones
Too bad we can't get all but a handful of the episodes.
IMHO the series lived up to the books written by Mortimer and thats a very rare thing.
Ragnar Hyne: Chief Justice of Tonga at the time of the wig transfer

A nice selection - but where was Mr Injustice Graves?
5:06 so much like Stephen Fry.
He also had a big falling out with the judge when in Africa doing a case…
