Linear power creates a flat tq curve. That's how the math works. Your gearbox gives you a "sense of torqueyness." First gear torquey. Sixth gear, not so torquey. A large flywheel keeps the engine from spinning spinning up or down quite so fast, so the bike doesn't feel so jerky getting on and off the throttle. Everyone does this ride height crap wrong. It would be nice to see if Ducati did it right. Do you know if you can activate it to lower the bike before you get on it? The problem with being short is getting these damn bikes off the stand. If it won't activate until it's moving, it's almost useless. The correct way to do this would be for mfgs to always default to the lowest ride height when the bike is off and press a button to increase it once you're under way. Lowering at stops is okay, but that's not as big of a deal as trying to get them on/off the kickstand. Here's the thing everyone reviewing this is missing. The maintenance. This new engine only requires valve checks every 40k miles if you want to. And there's no more cam belts to change. This is a HUGE improvement for people who ride a good bit. Makes the bike almost as easy to maintain as a Harley.

Obese types commenting on power... shed your own weight.
Your videos are a source of......haha got ya. I'm just filthy flesh bag with a meat-based processor. I have basic desires such as Italian motorbikes that I can't afford.
You can afford them if you want to. Buy my money making book and you will be able to afford any bike!
Nice bike but it's still a Ducati.
Naah is it?
Just sold my 17 year old Monster S2r 800, loved it for 11 years, bought a new Triumph Trident 660, best bike in 50 years on the road.
and?
Does anyone aspire to own a motorcycle with a bird head?
Dialog and narration is very cringe. Almost no time spent comparing suspension, engine, ergos, strengths & weaknesses. All of the statements made in this video have been made 100 times already. Better title is “2 guys pretending to go on a motorcycle adventure with poor writing and a chase vehicle”.
It's pronounced DuCahti, not Jewcatti.
They managed to ruin Ducati's most beautiful motorcycle, it looks like a Suzuki!! The improvements are perfect, the new model, but what a BAD design!!! The new motorcycle looks like a LEGO, it lost all the harmony and beauty of the previous model. Put a picture side by side for you to see and then put the new model next to a Suzuki!! What they did to the V2S aesthetically is a joke!! Fire this guy!! Think of an angry guy who would trade the old V2S for the new model, that's me.
I TALIAN trash. No thanks. You can keep that overpriced scrap.
😂
Can’t afford one never ridden one?
Fyi- the Supersport doesn’t have the new engine next. But the Multi v2 is the Goldilocks Moto imho.
