    I ended up using all of the ink from my 2018 pen in only half a year so I definitely think I'll have to add in a couple of extra pens for myself next year! I really love how many techos you use for different purposes~☆

    The bookmark is also to hold the pages down in the wind or as youre writing instead of a clip.

    I would prefer if they just gave the option to send free refills for the previous pens.

      That's such a great idea, it would really help reduce wastage, I much prefer refills over a brand new pen.

    Aww... I Loved the pens! I got my first one with my Hobonichi purchase, then I went to the bookstores to get another 4 sets of refills and after I searched for the original pen, I went on to purchase another two and one in 0.38 then have them on my table, my workdesk and one last one in my bag XD

    Hey, just a suggestion but why don't you just get the cousin in the avec version? It would be lighter

      That's a great idea! I did consider it, but I wanted to have access to the entire year at all times so it made it a bit more difficult.

      A Beautiful Fable I honestly don’t know how popular it is throughout China, but my mom has been making it for me since I could eat solid food. You basically beat however many eggs you want and my mom likes adding chicken bouillon powder into it instead of salt and black pepper (I think white pepper would be really nice too), then you steam it in a pot or one of those Chinese steamers. Just make sure the dish you’re using isn’t touching water. Wait for the water to boil, put it in, and lower the heat, then cook until it’s done. It should be super jiggly and soft XD
      I know that it’s a thing in Japan too. When I was little, whenever I would order a “set” that comes with some kind of dish, rice, and miso soup, there would always be a cup of steamed egg too.

    • @whatsatheoo
      @whatsatheoo 7 років тому +1

      Amy He oh my god yes. I'm still in school and whenever I see that little glass bowl with steam egg inside I get really happy and it can calm my mood down really well. I love it so much, both homemade and in stores. As for the Japanese version, it's called cawanmushi (spelling might not be right). The steam egg that I have at home will have chicken, crab sticks, mushrooms etc and it tastes so good.

      JustaHumanLivinLife My mom always makes it plain with some chicken bouillon powder sprinkled into it. I looooove mixing the silky egg into white rice and basically just eating that XD

    Hi Celina, loved your video thank you for sharing 😊 I just placed my first hobonichi order and bought the weeks planner to try out. I just fell in love with the Irma wallet/planner cover that you hauled and just wanted to get your opinion on it? And how are u finding it? I'm a fellow lux lover too 😅 was thinking of purchasing the Irma cover or saving up and potentially getting the LV zippy organiser Wallet but I'm not sure if the planner will fit inside 🤔

    • @abeautifulfable
      @abeautifulfable  7 років тому +1

      Yay! Thats awesome congratulations :D :D I am liking the Irma, but I ended up going back to my LV wallet because it was just a lot more usable? It felt a bit weird to constantly have my planner there as I went to pay for stuff! But that's just my own personal experience! Good luck :D

    +A Beautiful Fable I would like to suggest you put timestamps in your videos, especially longer videos such as this so that people can skip around and only view content they want to.
    Like example, for this video it's the haul, and it's really kind of you to explain the planner stuff for those who are new but, for those who are already familiar with the hobonichi techos, and just want to see your haul, would be nice to know where exactly to skip to.
    Would you be interested to subtitle your videos for the hard of hearing btw?
    Cheers

    • @abeautifulfable
      @abeautifulfable  7 років тому

      I think the timestamps is a great idea :) I'll keep it in mind for a future video that would have similar sort of "sections". I'd LOVE to have subtitled for my videos, I personally don't really have the time to write them up unfortunately :( I find the auto caption feature on UA-cam generally pretty good though :)

    • @bluecherrysakura
      @bluecherrysakura 7 років тому

      +A Beautiful Fable I have plenty of free time actually. I'm learning Japanese too. And planning to do streaming in the further future. I don't mind helping you subtitle your videos in US and UK English, Japanese and Chinese language.
      I'm of a Chinese descent so my Chinese is decent enough, but my passion is in Japanese stuffs. Been studying using music, TV shows and anime since I was about 12? It's been so long and I'm 23 already. It's been a fun journey. And I would gladly help other UA-camrs reach out to more potential viewers. Being a polyglot, I think is an amazing feat. And I admire that even though I don't want to slug my way wearily through textbooks. I'm having fun just being able to learn more and basically play more haha 😂

    • @bluecherrysakura
      @bluecherrysakura 7 років тому

      +A Beautiful Fable I'm researching ways to make use of UA-cam's existing subtitling to transfer into other Windows programs. Then all I pretty much have to do, if the video itself is in English, is to proofread and time the subtitles correctly to match it for US and UK English. It's a lot of detail and grammar blah-bleh-blah work but I like English and it's tiny details so. I was apparently suited to be an accountant, complimented by my past teachers who have strict standards for high detailing work and having passion to make things correct. I'm in no way a grammar Nazi though. But if someone is too busy to correct their own work, I would love to work for them to make sure that their videos are (what-did-they-coin-the-term-as-again) educational&interesting combination of words.

      +A Beautiful Fable I'm unfortunately unemployed at the moment hence the abundance of free time I have on my hands in recent months. But I've been in a few industries; retail, factory, and office. All mundane work 😂 but I like them. Just, unfortunately, people relations can't be guaranteed to be good unless one has a lot of charisma and knows how to smoothen issues out with various people. I'm a of a introverted personality, and even though I need my alone time to recharge, I would like to think I can have deep, meaningful conversations with people I DO talk with 😊😀

    • @bluecherrysakura
      @bluecherrysakura 7 років тому

      +A Beautiful Fable and wow it's 2AM now, and my grammar is gradually worsening to grade schooler level. I sincerely apologise for that; and hope we have a pleasant exchange with one another; fueled either by the desire to simply help people or by monetary-materialistic desires. I hate talking about money with strangers for fear that they would pity me, but the basic salary here ( in Singapore) is SGD$4.50 to $5. Totally not worth it if there is transportation fees involved because a to-and-from home trip takes up approximately five dollars. However, this is my first peek into the world of freelancing and working-from-home-job. So I'm willing to lower my expectations of salaries. Bending over to meet someone else as they say. My past retail work was $4.50 to $5 for simple cashiering, storekeeping and sales promoting. Arduous hours and strenuous for the joints. With a $1200-$1300. So I proceeded on to factory work, it's hot and humid work generally, with no freedom to either sit or stand. Salaries were dire, $1000-$1100. Plenty of chances for people, especially of the rude and unruly sort to take offence and take up their issues with you face on. I don't have the charisma and social skills sufficient enough to deal with anger. Lastly, I tried office work, was liberating to say the least, I can choose whatever position I want to work in and whatever computer equipment as long as it passes the I.T. departments' security checks. So I believe my heart lies in choosing my passions and following it through.
      I apologise for the lengthy walls of text I have provided you about my background. I just wished for you to know me better, so that we can tackle issues in unison.
      I have a few social media channels you can contact with by, if by chance you are intending to peruse my services. I'm available on UA-cam, LINE, WeChat, Twitch, and Twitter. Highly considering Instagram and Tumblr however I do not wish to bite off more than I could choose. So, yoroshiku onegaishimasu よろしくお願いします (I am in your care, please treat me kindly) *virtual bowing* 😊

    Soo much plastic. I wish they had a little bit awareness for the planet! This could all be wrapped just in a piece of thin paper to protect it.

      @abeautifulfable  7 років тому +5

      Agreed on that! I recycle everything I can after an unboxing, but I'd rather the resources not be consumed to begin with. I love that things are so well packaged in Japan but I can't imagine what the wastage is like?

    • @shoushikochou
      @shoushikochou 6 років тому +1

      They use plastics for a lot things but they also recycle more most then any country at 77%. I wish they would reduce plastic in shipping. I wish all companies did.
