Mr.Tom have the Mx5200 (@54hp?) Gear-drive shuttle shift 8×8 with the BH92 backhoe & same tires. With 7years & 1200hours of Totally Flawless profomance... & ZERO PROBLEMS. Just wish l would of let them "Have their tool box" & saved the 45cents on the Purchase Price of 41,580.°°$. Did "jack-up" both of the "Buck-board" seats( for more visibility & clearance's). Also "Supped-up" the slooowww hydraulic's just by changing some hoses & FITTINGS by 40%!!!( pressure & lifting profomance stayed the same). Also "Swaped-out" the Origional HD,with cutting edge - Heavy-Blast-Furnass- low volume- half SCOUP loading- Loader Bucket with a "Miricale-wonder- does Everything-BETTER -78" Skid-steer Loader bucket. These are "Good-Tractors"; but it is like an "old-ford" compaired to my "other" Massey-Ferguson 1736m power-shuttle-CADILAC. Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.
In Australia Kubota doesn’t sell the MX6000. They sell the MX5200. I have one and it looks to be very similar to the MX6000. The loader is lower rated than the loader on this tractor but again they look to be very similar. I don’t think these tractors are well suited to clearing land. They are designed more for doing work in cleared land. They are a bit too fragile to be a land clearing machine. They can do the job but it has to be taken slowly and carefully, otherwise something might snap, bend or break. We like our MX5200. It’s strong, reliable and capable.
Great video! I’ve got an L3301 from the dealership, had it 3 years. These tractors look fairly similar, I’ll have to look into it and see the differences. Anyway I’m gonna hit the subscribe button too! Edit: your tractor is the next size up from the one I’ve got, looks similar but must be the video!
What? It HAS Extendable lower link-ends....they ARE THE BEST.; "slapping" something else on is just "Junking it Up". I have thisTractor( MX5200 TLB) also 7years & 1200hours worth of near ZERO problems.
I have same tractor and box blade and love it. The larger box blade on the MX is a must at least for me. I do a lot of work in the woods lifting, pulling and pushing trees and the added weight of box blade helps. I used to own a B3030 - also a great tractor for what I used it for but needed something bigger. My biggest surprise regarding the MX6000 vs B3030 was the fuel consumption. My MX does not sip diesel, I know its a bigger tractor / engine / weight, but I quickly went to Vevor 65-gallon fuel storage with pump. Standing on wheels pouring from 5-gallon containers was ridiculous.
Excellent review, thank you! I am in the process of purchasing this tractor, do you regret not getting the Ag tires? My sales person recommends them but I am also planning on doing some finish mowing so the Ag may be too aggressive for me, what are your thoughts?
These new tractors have 4wd so I do not regret the tires I have on it now. I wanted to keep the fat front tire and if you use the AG it will be a skinny front tire. The only other tire that has my interest is the Goodyear R14t. They are like the AG tire but less aggressive.
Hi Tom, I am interested in this same tractor that is for sale near me. I have a 20' trailer that is 76.5" wide. Tractor Data says this tractor is 74.6" wide. Do you think my trailer would haul it? Thanks
Yes. It should haul it but it depends what rear attachments you have on it. I had a similar trailer and it barely fit with front loader and a rear box blade.
I had a 20' car hauler trailer and it barley fit on the trailer. I had to roll the bucket up to get it to fit. I'm thinking around 22' ft but if you need an exact measurement I'll try to get one for you. If you need to know the length for a trailer then I would recommend a 25' trailer.
they build the perfect tractor then put loader control up high and the treddle pedal. that was the two things that made me buy a different brand.. all in all that is one fine machine. i play with logs with a fransgard 950 log grapple and open station to i dint wreck cab

Can't tell the dent. I just bought the L4802, excited to get started working it.

I agree. If you have to clear out a large area then some type of heavy equipment will work best.
Maximal tractor with HST. My only concern is turbo..., the fact is simple is great.

Thanks for posting and doing the review, I'm looking at buying this tractor and it helps to have a real review.

What is the total length of your tractor setup from FEL tip to farthest end of your box blade?

Can you give the seller and part number of the 5 11 tie downs?

U added armrest
Yes I had those added at the dealership.
How is it digging dirt?
It's decent at digging virgin ground but it's no skid steer.
You need katic insurance through kubota
Small tractors cost nearly as much as bigger ones.
