Basically his guitar is plugged into a wireless unit so what he plays is live during the streams but electric guitars are much quieter so you don't hear it as loud in the room as an acoustic guitar......if that makes sense. If it was played through an amp in the room then obviously you would hear that loudly but it is being fed straight into the studio for our streams.
Serious question: why do singers with english or australian accent always sound american when they sing? Is American a neutral accent overall? (minus the weird ones like southern country who purposely sing with a southern accent)
Actually a great question. I'll be honest, I don't know but i guess personally it feels most natural when singing the melodies and sounds of pop + rock music.

I didn’t realise when Russell plays the guitar on the lives his guitar isn’t actually plugged in so the sound isn’t blasting out in the studio
