Munich Airport is the second busiest airport in Germany and one of the busiest airports in Europe. Munich gets no short of an outstanding amount of variety of different aircraft and airlines. Being such a destination place, the variety comes from all around the world, especially a lot of traffic from South-East Asia and North America, as well of course as a large proportion of European and UK traffic!

I was in Europe back in June with some family. We flew Lufthansa into Munich from Chicago. It was a really nice flight there and back. It was a dream come true for me since I had always wanted to go to Europe since I was young. We visited Germany and Austria
I had a layover in Munich (NY>Naples), and it was the most spotless, perfectly kept, airport I've been in so far.

I live there and the airport is great for spotting! If you go there, you definitely have to go to the visitor hill in the visitor park. Then you can still see the planes on the other runway from parking deck 11 of car park 20. If you have a car or a bicycle, you can also drive to the "Aussichtshügel Süd". There you can get very close to the big planes.
