Thank you for your opinion it is a valid one, I would like to give you a few minutes of my time for you to have a complete understanding of the whole picture. Firstly the pigeons are a pest species that cause millions in damage costs related back to the farmers. Secondly all the birds are given to the local farmworkers were taken to the townships and given to people that cannot afford to buy meat put on a table for their families. Thirdly it brings revenue into the country with foreign travellers spending money not only on hunting but on accommodation flights and leisure in general. Fourthly if you can get people to pay for a job that has to be done anyway regardless of whether they enjoy the sporting aspect of hunting or pest control surely that's a win-win.
