Happy 4th, your video cheared me up. I lost one of my chihuahua babies yesterday, she was 15 plus. Had her for over 10 years, I knew her time was coming but it is never easy. She went in her sleep and I know she is happy crossed over the rainbow Bridge. Will miss her bunches. My male chihuahua, Rosco, lost without her, he 18 years old. He will be my next one. It hurts but I know they have had a great life and I have many memories.

Since I live alone I went to Thomas BBQ and got a BBQ stuffed baked potato loaded, slice chocolate cake with thick yummy creamy choc icing. Stopped got Blue Bell ice cream for my 4th of July lunch and dinner. I usually go to our community parade, but didn’t today. Weenie Man song. Hahahaha. We sang that too. I’m 68 and exactly 1/2!

The river (Mississippi) if over flood stage and several campgrounds that are usually booked to capacity are closed due to flooded roads and campgrounds. We have a festival every 4th called Riverfest and I think it’s a washout today. The fireworks at 10 are so popular but don’t think they’ll be going tonight. Lightening and thundering and heavy rain right now. I got my lawn mowed in time between the episodes of rain. Thanks for sharing your celebration with us.

I had smoked sausage too! lol… spent the holiday alone as I do most days but the food is always my focus for holidays so I still make sure to fix myself a nice meal even if I only share it a lil bit with my fur buddies.
