Pretty sure many of them do, why assume they all don’t? Just because you wouldn’t make that choice (or you don’t *think* you would), it doesn’t mean everyone who makes that choice is doing so without thinking of the future. Their future depends on their finances, too…and most big adult content creators have made peace with the fact that they’re going to be publicly known as such. Same as the big male pron stars…idk. Of course the women are judged more in our society for it, but they often decide to deal with that for the sake of their career (and the benefits outweighing the downsides for them personally). 🤷🏼♀️
I mean it’s not their fault they’re objectified to that extent, and many of them in the industry are actively trying to fight these issues and advocating for themselves & their fellow creators. The messed up part is that the people hating on them the most are usually the same ones consuming their content! They’re the customers who turn around and mistreat & disrespect them in the external world. I feel like they want these women to exist only inside the pornography they watch, and not acknowledge them as actual human beings- I don’t get why.
But yes there is exploitation rife in the industry, and the pressure to sexualize yourself & be sexualized is so strong, and for young women it does sometimes end up with them getting into something that they can’t handle. And they end up being harmed by the very thing they were supposed to be rewarded for, and feel almost *expected* to do/be in the first place, as a woman in this culture.
