one wonders why did railways create a hybrid coach. it is to do with taking the benefits from both LHB coaches are strongly linked, more stable for passenger comfort, they can go as fast as 130kmph but they do not have self-generation so an EOG at both ends (or loco with HOG) is needed which means extra cost of EOG car plus diesel costs per km. ICF coaches are self-generative, but the hook and slot is not the safest as it does not prevent coaches from telescopic crashing into one another, speed restriction of 110kmph is also there. so an experiment was made to make hybrid coaches which would have strong connection of LHB coach as well as electricity self generation of ICF bogies. but with advent of Wap5/7 with HOG capacity, power is taken from overhead wires and part of it is transferred via another setup (too long to explain in detail) for lights, fans, ac etc. this means, there is no need for EOG on both ends, Trains still have one EOG, but it is not active, just as backup. with this, there is absolutely no need for hybrid coaches and they are slowly being phased out.
@@Atharv855 hybrid coaches have ICF bogies, which are rated at 110kmph. since hybrid use the same bogies, they cannot go to 120kmph. self-generation means there is a dynamo attached via belts to the wheels, so when wheels move, the belt drives the dynamo, generates electricity which is stored in ten 12v batteries (main reason why light bulbs and fans used were 120volts) . so the locomotive now has to generate enough power to not only pull the coaches, but also enough to drive the dynamos. that is why ICF are rated at 110kmph. LHB have no such dynamo system on their wheels, all electricity was provided by EOG ( and now by HOG in electric territory). so now the locomotive simply has to provide enough power to pull the coaches. so the train can attain higher speeds with same tractive effort. it helps that LHB coaches are also lighter than ICF.
25 साल इस ट्रेन से सफर(अंग्रेजी वाला)किया है मैंने | मैं शक्तिनगर में रहता था जहां से ये ट्रेन हर दूसरे दिन चलती थी | भारत की सबसे घटिया ट्रेन की लिस्ट में ये टॉप पर होगी | 95% बार जब ये शक्तिनगर से चलती थी तब इसमें ना तो लाइट होती थी ना ही पानी होता था | पहले जब ये बरेली तक चलती थी तो शक्तिनगर/सिंगरौली से डीजल इंजन से चुनार तक जाती थी | अप और डाउन वाली त्रिवेणी चुनार पर एक दूसरे को क्रॉस करती थी और डाउन वाली त्रिवेणी का इलेक्ट्रिक इंजन इसमे लगाया जाता था जो इलाहाबाद तक आता था और जब तक डाउन वाली त्रिवेणी नहीं आती थी तब तक ये चुनार पर खड़ी रहती थी फिर इलाहाबाद से बरेली तक डीजल इंजन लगता था| पूरे रूट पर इसमें तीन बार इंजन चेंज होते थे 😂आज पुरानी खौफनाक यादें ताजा हो गयी | 😄

Earlier one portion of this train used to go till Daltonganj via my hometown Renukoot, bifurcated at Chopan. Travelled in this train many times from Renukoot to Prayagraj/Lucknow until 2016 on ICF rakes.

Lucknow se Bareilly ke beeche me aksar hi trains ko zabardasti late kia jata hai, n koi overtake hota hai,na hi kahi maintenance work hota hai. Last 1 yr se continue dekh raha hu, sirf VIP trains on time nikal rahi hai.

23:16 शाहजहाँपुर को शहीदों की नगरी भी कहा जाता है। पंडित राम प्रसाद बिस्मिल ठाकुर रोशन सिंह ,अश्फाखुल्ला खां का जन्म शाहजहाँपुर में ही हुआ था। भगत सिंह जी के आदेश पर इन तीन वीरों ने काकोरी कांड को अंजाम दिया था। काकोरी (लखनऊ के पास कस्बा)में अंग्रेजों के समान एवं हथियार से लदी मालगाडी को लूट लिया था एवं वहां मौजूद अंग्रेजों को मौत के घाट उतार दिया था। सज़ा के रूप में अंग्रेजों ने तीनों को फांसी की सज़ा सुनाई जिसे वीरों ने हस्ते हंसते स्वीकार कर लिया था। शाहजहाँपुर में शहीद पार्क भी बना गया है इन तीन वीरों की याद में और वहां इनकें स्मारक भी है। मेरा बचपन इसी शहर में बीता है, पर पिछले 10 सालों से कानपुर में रह था हूँ। जब भी Lucknow जाना होता था तो सुबह 9 बजे गंगा सतलुज किसान एक्सप्रेस या दोपहर 1 बजे त्रिवेणी एक्सप्रेस या शाम को काशी विश्वनाथ एक्सप्रेस से जाता था। जिसमे बरेली-बरवाडीह/शक्तिनगर/सिंगरौली त्रिवेणी एक्सप्रेस favourite थी।😊 Nostalgia😢❤
I also belongs to same region. by default this train was our life line but like others mentioned this train is synonym of late. least priority, never runs on time. However since only train in that region so it’s our favourite one

In the afternoon mostly from 10-2 pm the lko-mb route is used for freight operations. All passenger trains running between this time interval are bound to be late. For example check timing of 13151 Jammu Tawi Express.

Triveni exp bareilly se lko tak safar karne ke liye thik hai dopahar 12 baje bareilly se chalti hai aur exact 4 baje lko pahuch jati hai jyadatar lko jane wale isiko prefer karte the without reservation ke aaram se general ticket lekar lko tak chale jao 100 rs me lko pahuch jate hai agar bareilly se lko ac bus ya reservation karake bhi jao to rs 500+ lag hi jate hai aur most train 4 ghante hi leti hai balki bus to 5 ghante bhi leti hai Kam bajat aur timings ke hisab se bareilly to lko ke liye best hai.

there was a reason for making the hybrid ICF coaches. ICF coaches are self-generating ie each coach has a generator and batteries which generate electricity due to the coach motion. but that also means that the locomotive has to pull additional weight (weight of coaches + Drag due to these generators on every coach). also, coaches are joined by rack and pin system which is not as secure as CBC (central buffered couplings) used in LHB coaches. LHB coaches are smoother, have CBC but they need additional EOG coaches at both ends to provide for power for lights, fans, ACs etc. as there is no generators attached to the wheels of every coach. so, though that means Locomotive can attain and maintain higher speeds easily, there is additional expense of electricity generation esp. cost of diesel needed and maintenance costs of keeping the diesel generators in working condition. So, Railways thought, why not place LBH coaches on ICF bogies so safety (CBC, comfort) as well as money savings (in diesel purchase as well as of maintenance). so, they experimented with few coaches, they were meant to be used in slow passengers and medium speed mail and express trains. but with rampant electrification of Indian rail network and new adaption of HOG in newer WAP7 locomotives, it becomes easier to adapt a single wap7 to use electricity from overhead lines for usage in coaches for lights /fan/ ACs etc. than to convert every coach as hybrid variety. also, railways are trying to speed up the rail network and Hybrid coaches are not rated beyond 110km while pure LHB coaches are rated to 130+ kmph. so, finally, the project to create hybrid coaches was dropped by indian railways for adoption of HOG technology.

Lucknow se Bareilly ke beeche me aksar hi trains ko zabardasti late kia jata hai, n koi overtake hota hai,na hi kahi maintenance work hota hai. Last 1 yr se continue dekh raha hu, sirf VIP trains on time nikal rahi hai.

,अश्फाखुल्ला खां का जन्म शाहजहाँपुर में ही हुआ था।
भगत सिंह जी के आदेश पर इन तीन वीरों ने काकोरी कांड को अंजाम दिया था। काकोरी (लखनऊ के पास कस्बा)में अंग्रेजों के समान एवं हथियार से लदी मालगाडी को लूट लिया था एवं वहां मौजूद अंग्रेजों को मौत के घाट उतार दिया था।
सज़ा के रूप में अंग्रेजों ने तीनों को फांसी की सज़ा सुनाई जिसे वीरों ने हस्ते हंसते स्वीकार कर लिया था।
शाहजहाँपुर में शहीद पार्क भी बना गया है इन तीन वीरों की याद में और वहां इनकें स्मारक भी है।
मेरा बचपन इसी शहर में बीता है, पर पिछले 10 सालों से कानपुर में रह था हूँ।
जब भी Lucknow जाना होता था तो सुबह 9 बजे गंगा सतलुज किसान एक्सप्रेस या दोपहर 1 बजे त्रिवेणी एक्सप्रेस या शाम को काशी विश्वनाथ एक्सप्रेस से जाता था।
जिसमे बरेली-बरवाडीह/शक्तिनगर/सिंगरौली त्रिवेणी एक्सप्रेस favourite थी।😊

I also belongs to same region. by default this train was our life line but like others mentioned this train is synonym of late. least priority, never runs on time. However since only train in that region so it’s our favourite one

In the afternoon mostly from 10-2 pm the lko-mb route is used for freight operations. All passenger trains running between this time interval are bound to be late. For example check timing of 13151 Jammu Tawi Express.

Triveni exp bareilly se lko tak safar karne ke liye thik hai dopahar 12 baje bareilly se chalti hai aur exact 4 baje lko pahuch jati hai jyadatar lko jane wale isiko prefer karte the without reservation ke aaram se general ticket lekar lko tak chale jao 100 rs me lko pahuch jate hai agar bareilly se lko ac bus ya reservation karake bhi jao to rs 500+ lag hi jate hai aur most train 4 ghante hi leti hai balki bus to 5 ghante bhi leti hai Kam bajat aur timings ke hisab se bareilly to lko ke liye best hai.

Pehle ye rake Sant Kabirdham exp (GKP-LTT) me laga tha . Mene Bhopal se LTT isme 2019 me Safar Kiya tha .
रेलवे ने LHB लगा कर इस ट्रैन के साथ न्याय नहीँ किया है.. ऊपर से जनरल कोच हटा कर उसके जगह AC लगा दिया है. जो रेलवे सही नहीँ किया है..

there was a reason for making the hybrid ICF coaches.
ICF coaches are self-generating ie each coach has a generator and batteries which generate electricity due to the coach motion. but that also means that the locomotive has to pull additional weight (weight of coaches + Drag due to these generators on every coach). also, coaches are joined by rack and pin system which is not as secure as CBC (central buffered couplings) used in LHB coaches.
LHB coaches are smoother, have CBC but they need additional EOG coaches at both ends to provide for power for lights, fans, ACs etc. as there is no generators attached to the wheels of every coach. so, though that means Locomotive can attain and maintain higher speeds easily, there is additional expense of electricity generation esp. cost of diesel needed and maintenance costs of keeping the diesel generators in working condition.
So, Railways thought, why not place LBH coaches on ICF bogies so safety (CBC, comfort) as well as money savings (in diesel purchase as well as of maintenance). so, they experimented with few coaches, they were meant to be used in slow passengers and medium speed mail and express trains.
but with rampant electrification of Indian rail network and new adaption of HOG in newer WAP7 locomotives, it becomes easier to adapt a single wap7 to use electricity from overhead lines for usage in coaches for lights /fan/ ACs etc. than to convert every coach as hybrid variety. also, railways are trying to speed up the rail network and Hybrid coaches are not rated beyond 110km while pure LHB coaches are rated to 130+ kmph.
so, finally, the project to create hybrid coaches was dropped by indian railways for adoption of HOG technology.
