It really is sad to see Cid was fired after 3 days of the event. I mean would you fire someone who has put countless hours of exhausting hard work into making sure that the school he is working with gets the opportunity to win? It seems to me that those who own the schools is all about their own selfish pride and interest. Such a very unprofessional conduct. Shame of them really.
How does an american get to be in the parade? How can someone be on the float from USA? Is there a website.... my great grandfather came from Italy and moved to Brazil but then moved to the USA

I believe the samba school Mangueira allows foreign tourists to participate, although you will have to invest in your costume.

Go to the Samba school and buy the costumes. You must on time for training on the weekends, otherwise they will kick ass out of the school.
