It's somewhat bizarre that the second-to-last boss is the one with more than one health meter and not the final boss. You could say that Koshimizu is more of man than his boss is.
It's kind of funny, considering what we find out in the epilogue, this is probably the most unnecessary fight in the game, and has the most brutal ending in the cutscene, gotta wonder if Koshimizu was about to spill the beans before Kiryu beat his nose concave
So this fight is another example of practically perfect intro. Music starts to build up, nagumo gets a good kick on a dude, Kiryu with a legendarily fierce back hand, cut to boss' face and music drops. I fucking love this series so much.
I love the button mash zoom ins you get in heat mode. My first experience of the dragon engine was Kiwami 2 and the first time I got to watch Kiryu grind a man's nose into nothing but cartilage pulp I was awestruck.
Yakuza 6 Facts - Masozue can heal his guy back just with the taunts. - Koshimizu had 2 health bars but he didn't be the final boss instead Iwami just have 1 health bars
He didn't make Someya kill himself, Iwami gave the ultimatum, Koshimizu was just following orders, because he couldn't openly defy the man with the whole "chairman/patriarch is absolute" rule of the yakuza
@@auhs6240 Well, he did let his wife live, even though Iwami told him to kill her. I'm pretty sure that he was also about to tell Kiryu that Iwami had Haruka before Kiryu knocked him out.
Nah. If someya didn’t do that, iwami would’ve asked koshimizu to pop her then and there. And if he pulled the trigger iwami would’ve seen that it was a blank. Only after iwami and sugai left the room did koshimizu pull the trigger, since he didn’t have another choice. Someya’s sacrifice was sad yes, but also necessary considering iwami’s presence.
All that killing and slaughtering just because some people are aware that there's a hidden battleship in a shipyard that was replicated and built using illicit funds. Anyways after beating the story mode in the game, can i still see that yamato battleship?

i feel no sympathy for koshimizu when he got punched asleep given he mocked kiryu about kiyomi. like sir you decided not to kill her on purpose. even if kiryu didn't know at the time, what could you possibly have had to gain by pissing him off even more by gloating about something you didn't do.
I think he was just trying to put on an act in front of Iwami and Sugai so they don't find out he spared Kiyomi But yeah I agree, taunting an already pissed off Kiryu with such a low blow is basically asking to get fucking killed. Nice one Koshimizu
Ok but can someone inform me on why this guy wasn't the final boss? He should've had more screentime, he has that ruthless look on his face, the all red suit is just sinister as fuck. He would've been way better than iwami. That guy was just a little bitch
I think kiryu is very weak in yakuza 6 because kiryu has no tiger drop, dragon of dojima style, rush style, blawer style and beast style. It make him more difficult to fight enemy and his heat power ran out very quickly when he use heat move and it restore slowly.I glad they make it better in kiwami 2
"Dragon of Dojima" style has been Kiryu's main style ever since Yakuza 1 on the PS2 (Kiwami doesn't count in this case at all) while Brawler was Kiryu's confirmed style in Yakuza 0 since he was inexperienced as a Yakuza. Kiryu doesn't need those other styles since DoD is the culmination of all of Kiryu's fighting styles that he made into his own. Remember, the Dragon Engine was a new thing when Sega made Yakuza 6 so of course it would feel slowly & clunky.
Devilleon deliberately went out of his way not to upgrade Kiryu's attack power. If he did, he would've been steamrolling through the bosses, which in turn would've made them much less exciting for us to watch because the risk is pretty much gone. Seriously, Extreme Heat mode is downright gamebreaking if upgraded diligently.
Liew Skywalkker He does have the Tiger Drop, it’s an unlockable move once you hit Attack over 200. DoD is Kiryu’s signature style, all of his styles in 0 helped build his Dragon style, it’s to show his growth as you can see he got elements of each style and those of the ones he’s fought in the past. Also another reason why we didn’t get four styles like Kiwami is likely because it’s just been adapted for the new gameplay style and engine change- it’s not a bad thing - we didn’t need all those styles anyway - more focus on developing his one style that way Heat works differently here too, so it’s unfair to say “he’s weaker”. You can upgrade Attack Power and Heat Gauge Damage and recharge speed when landing hits in the game, Devileon didn’t upgrade any of the stats to make fights more exciting - otherwise they’d be over too quickly - remember that he prefers to show no cutscenes so battles would only be 3 mins long if he was fully upgraded. He is older but he’s hardly weak - he can rag doll enemies with one good hit now
