I can't believe this series is almost over. It feels like we just started. Your generosity is overwhelming and I appreciate every kit that you give to me. ♥ Thank you so very much. This journal set is really versatile too. All I'll need to do is change the cover pictures and some of the pages to make it perfect for anytime. I'm pretty sure most of us have more than this journal kit in our various files (I know I have many!) and a ton or two of ephemera to print off and cut out...., so making different journals will be easy.
This has been so much fun and i’m so glad your channel grew through this project cause this i’m sure was a LOT of work!! Thank you for doing what you do!
Thank you Debbie for this truly Christmas Gift. I've been watching journal/folio constructions on UA-cam for probably 15 years now (or maybe more - how time flies when you are having fun in retirement!) and I think that this video is the most comprehensive that I have seen. Reasons why - you don't tell the viewer what they HAVE to do; you give choices. You allow for paper construction as well as cardstock and point out pitfalls and where reinforcement may be needed. There's a choice of number of signatures with templates and a really neat way of hiding the stitching in the spine. You show the viewer how the pieces of the cover and spine fit together - this may seem an obvious thing to point out but I have seen so many videos where seemingly random sizes of card are cut, scored and moved about in all directions in front of our eyes without any indication as to how they will finally fit until almost the end of the video. Is this deliberate I wonder, to keep us watching until the end? or just thoughtless? Focus on the work in hand is excellent. I dispair of those who move the very object that they have laboured on for so much time - making, videoing, editing, uploading - up and down, in and out of focus so that we can't get a good view. Brave of you let the viewer watch you sewing in the signatures - so many people do the "here's one I made earlier" trick. It IS a difficult process, but watchers need to see to learn! My final comment is on your hands !! Dix Points to you for true crafters hands (REAL NAILS !) which don't wave about in front of the work in progress, obscuring our view. I wish that other aspiring journalling UA-camrs would follow your example. May your shadow never shorten ! Jacky
I can't believe what you have given us for free, ive bought kits in the past, and nowhere near as much in them as what you have given us. This is indeed a very generous gesture on your part, and I shall certainly support your shop. Thankyou so very much 💓 Xxx ps I too use a thick book to punch my holes into, the thick Harry Potter books are good for this..
Debbie, you are amazing and so generous. This has been so much fun and exciting for each day! What a gift this is! So wonderful and I will treasure this journal! ❤❤❤
I have learned so much. I've never done more than one sew in journal. I'm going to watch again and follow, pause , and start again. If I need help I'll let you know. Thank you so much for teaching us so much. Hugs to you. I'm a senior on a budget so I'm greatful. God bless you. 🙏🤗❤❤❤
I absolutely LOVE all you create!!! So beautiful!! I print these projects out & either make them as gifts for the ladies at the nursing home my mom is at, or bring them in as an activity for them. They absolutely love doing this, & really look forward to these projects. Thank you so very much. This journal is absolutely gorgeous!! 🙏💚✌️✨️
I absolutely love this project! 12 Days of Christmas; what a joy for us to make with your creations, what a joy for the people receiving OUR project. Made with Love. Merry Christmas to you and yours and please know we ALL appreciate your hard work and the tutorials you created also. Ink & Page = AAA+++ from me!
This has been such an amazing project and it has been over the top generous on your part. I have loved working along with you to complete this journal. Thank you so much!
Thank you SO. MUCH. for this video. I’ve been collecting journal supplies and printables for months now but I’ve been so intimidated by the actual construction that I haven’t completed a journal yet. After watching this video I FINALLY feel like I understand this binding process! Thank you for doing it step by step from start to finish. I can’t wait to make a beautiful Christmas journal from this kit! 🩷🩷🎄🎄
You make this look so easy! Looks like I shall be making a 3rd signature after all, although I think I will use 80 lb card stock for more durability with the cover. I haven’t seen multiple signatures sewn collectively before so I am hoping it will work for me. I can always fall back on sewing them in individually if I have issues. This has been the most exciting and rewarding project I have ever worked on and look forward to working on every day to completion. I know I sound repetitive but I really do sincerely appreciate your generosity and kindness in sharing this project with us and providing it to us for free! Due to your generosity with this project, I am now a dyed in the wool Etsy customer in your shop and you will be always the first artist I will look at when I need digitals! Thank you! P.S. I love the Wraithwood series! I love the darker grungy gothic feel. Sometimes, I do need digitals that are less darker feeling when I make journals for others. Have you considered possibly creating something like the “Lightstone or Lightwood” cousins to the Wraithwood? You know a less dark version for some digital kits? Might be something to consider if you run into a creative block in the future. Thank you!
This has been the best learning experience, even things that I already knew to be able to do it all at once was awesome. 👏🏻 Thank YOU so much, I love your digital kits. I’ve just discovered them and I’m really enjoying them.
I'm saving the steps to complete the journal for when I'm in my new home during Christmas. Thank you so much for this fabulous project. I've gotten so many good ideas for my own projects.
Yes I love projects like this one. You are amazing teacher! I don’t know what else to call it. lol. But you are amazing. I have fallen behind but I will get it done before the end of the year! Thank you!!
Thank you for this kit. It is gorgeous. You are very talented. My printer had a hard time keeping up with so many images. Lol. How do you like your Epson Ecotank printer?
Thank you so much for your generosity of gifting us this beautiful journal kit !!!!!!! I’m so excited to start putting it together. I doubt if I get it done before Christmas, but will have it ready for next year. Wishing you a Merry Christmas 🌲🎅❤️
I love these! Would you consider adding these to each kit? It would make it easier for a lot of newbies and to knock up a quick journal when short on time 😊
This is great! Mine is done. I’ve never done a softcover journal with a hidden spine. So I appreciate you teaching us! I’d like to know how you do a hidden spine with a hardcover. You started back when you did Ghost Story, but never got to finishing the inside. I still have that journal printed and ready to assemble (I got sidetracked) and plan to work on it in January.
This is the best journal assembly video!!! You’re an awesome teacher. I’m so excited to make it soon! Question, yesterday I tried to print day #3 but day # 9 kept coming up. Any ideas? Thank you so much. I’ve been recovering from pneumonia and my heart goes out to you. I’ve been praying for you all along. It’s hard to teach when you’re struggling to breathe. I went back to teach first grade after being out for nearly a month. It’s been rough. I appreciate you!
This is amazing. Thank you so much for the beautiful journal kit. I will be putting mine together soon. Does it work on A4 paper or just letter size? ❤
I use color sewing clips and clip them to the top of my signatures so when I’m sewing them in I know by the sewing clips that it’s in the correct position. So after everything is sewn in I know if all the colored clips are in the same place it’s not upside down. There’s nothing worse than having to restitch the signature because ones upside down😂
This has been the best learning experience, even things that I already knew to be able to do it all at once was awesome. 👏🏻 Thank YOU so much, I love your digital kits. I’ve just discovered them and I’m really enjoying them.
Please do more of these amazing projects. Have learnt so much, thank you
Yessssssssss!!! 👍👍👍
I was thinking of 12 days of spring!
Or Fall or even Summer. Haha
Yessssssssss!
Debbie, I am absolutely thrilled with the 12 days of winter wonderland, I don't know how much I should thank you.💓
I think I am going to divide my pages into 2 books since you gave us so many options. thank you!

I’ve read through some of the other comments and I echo what they’ve said. You are very talented, creative, and generous. Thanks so much ❤
Thank you so much for this kit. The set you've produced along with your videos is such a great tool for beginners too.

Punching your holes in a large book like you did is a great idea 💡 😮 😊
I'm so glad I'm not alone with the upside down trick. :D

Lol! A lesson I learned the hard way! The colored clips are a great idea--thank you for that!
Who besides me is going to use a pink spine with green cover pages??😊
How many pages are in the signature that’s in the three signature.
