I love my QC20 for flying, I got the Airpods Pro hoping they were up to par but the noise cancelling is just not good enough for flying, for the gym is ok but they fall off specially if you sweat, I had to buy a sleeve with a loop to hold them in my ear, works well but sound is not that good either, I prefer my Beats (wired) wireless, the sound is amazing! Hopefully the new bose quietcomfort earbuds are as good as the QC20 or better, been waiting for them for too long!
You didn't mention the fact that the QC20s will last on longer flights. You'd have to charge the Airpods Pro frequently on a long flight which means you have to take them out of your ears and charge them.
Most don't wear them non stop, at least when I'm on long flights 10+ hours, I don't wear them for more than 4 hours straight. They're both good but the wireless aspect is golden especially when getting up from your seat without a wire. Thanks
@@EverydayReviews2022 I'll stick with the Bose QC's. I fly LAX-JFK frequently and don't ever remove my QC20's, except for very few bathroom breaks. I can get an LAX-JFK R/T out of one charge. If they discharge because I forgot to charge them, I can plug them into either airplane USB/AC or spare battery back-up to charge, and still have the noise cancellation while they're charging. LAX to Narita- always on. Planes are too noisy, once you've had NC. If the Airpods lasted over 5 hrs and had the level of the Bose's, I'd consider them, except for long flights. I'd love to go wireless. Actually, my next earbuds will be APTx HD so this will be a while.
Thanks for the video. It was very helpful for me. I just ordered the QC 20s and like them but I feel like I'm constantly tangled in the wires. I'm going to return them and go with the Airpods Pro. I guess there are always pluses or minuses to anything you go with but they seem like a much better all around choice for me.
Hello there, I loved this video. Very rich and informative video for 14 minutes. Does the noise canceling on BOSE QC20 work better or on the AirPods Pro? For MacBook, should I get the QC20 for iPhone or for Android? Because I have an Android phone and I was wondering if I could use the QC20 for Android, on my MacBook also.
Yes you can use the Android QC20s with your MacBook. Th e Apple ones just allow you to control volume on your phone. If you fly a fair amount, I’d go for the AirPods pro just for the wireless. You can’t really go wrong with either one. I’d say the QC20’s have a marginally better noise cancelling and also a little more comfortable than the AirPods pro.
Ha Ha, I have one of those cases for my AirPods 2 but mine is Minion yellow. Ironically I am waiting for my case for my AirPods Pro to be delivered right now. I have been loving them so far, very comfortable and the noise canceling is amazing and so worth it. An easier way to take the Pros out is to put the tip of your finger behind each one at the highest point and push forward and they pop right out. I haven't had my AirPods 2 very long though so I should be able to sell them.
The QC20i was perfect for me. Battery life+the portability+easy to sleep with them on+IFE compatible+I found the Bose stayhear tips to be the only ones I find comfortable enough to use daily. Since they broke, I haven't been able to find a replacement. Any thoughts on QC20/20i vs Bose Noise Cancelling earbuds?
Why wouldn't you test them against the bose soundsport free? It seems to make more sense to test true wireless apods against the true wires earphones that bose make.
Good video! I want to buy your qc20 or the airpods 1gen if you don't use them, but you probably already gave them away, if you still have them, how much would you sell them for? I would pay the shipping ( i want to buy the qc20 but amazon doesn't ship this to my country and the price in local stores are too expensive )
QC20 = Disintegrating Earbuds, I cannot post any pics here. But I have a pair. In 4 years they were coming apart after using about 160 hours a year. long haul international flights. Not used at home or outdoors or anything like that. Oh yes they are great at noise cancellation but I don't think I should replace something that I should last much longer. Just go to Amazon and look up the reviews there.
The difference is apple did really good job , but that bose will make you like every single song even if you don't like the song itself there is just big margin between the two . I just got my airpods pro from Amazon , and trust me all it tooks is 30 minutes to decide to send it back 😂
Bashar Matti I think regular AirPods do a better job with music and comfort than the Pros...The Pros NC is weaker than QC20 and less comfortable to wear...think I’m staying with AirPods 2 for everyday use and QC20 to fly
I read a lot of reviews about the durability of these being bad. Lots of people saying they last 6 months only or 1 year only and for 250$ that doesn't seem like a good thing. What's been your experience?
@@EverydayReviews2022 Thanks for the quick response. I've been considering these for a while but plenty of people have had comments on their durability so I wasn't sure. I'll pick up a pair and see for myself. Knowing Bose though, if there are issues their customer service handles them well.
Had AirPods Pro’s for a month and a half I love them so much, but... THEY DONT STAY IN AT ALL. So I’m gonna return them and get the new bose QC earbuds
If I buy the Bose QC20 can I use it for both my iPhone 12 and Macbook Pro (2018), or do I have to by separate versions for both (Apple version and Samsung version)? I have read sometimes one version doesn't work well with macbooks and another doesn't play well with iPhones. Can I use the apple version for both?
Exactly, that’s why I use the Bluetooth adaptor that I showed in the video. It allows you to use your Bluetooth device on anything that has a headphone jack.
I will recommend using different foam tips for better audio quality for the air pods pro. And part about connecting it to your devices, I own windows, android, and apple products... the airpodspro suck on android devices (disconnections). And I have a macbook pro in comparison to the ipad pro, so no issue with an adapter there.
you prolly dont give a shit but if you are bored like me atm then you can watch pretty much all of the latest series on Instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last few weeks =)
I saw the videos, but couldn't find which one's noise cancelling is better. If there's anyone compared noise cancelling, please let me know which one is better.
I have both and I’m very surprised by the apple AirPod pros. They sound great. The tonal range is amazing. I’m yet to test the noise canceling on a flight. I’ve used the WC20s for years now and I love them. But comparing the 2, I think the Bose’s loudness tends to drown out some of the mid tones
Are you saying these cancel out noise as good as the QC20?? My QC20 and QC35 (which are similar in NC) are my benchmarks. I’ve been thinking about getting the Airpod Pros since I lost my original (beloved) AirPods. 👍🏽
I’d say they are close to as good but the wireless makes it worth it. Buy me from the Apple store and if you don’t like them, you have 14 days to return even after using them. Only thing though is they’re so much smaller than the original AirPods that they might be easier to lose. I haven’t lost mine yet. The coloured silicone cover helps a lot.
Everyday Reviews THANK YOU for the response. I was ready to drop money on another gen1 set but, based on your reply, I will be saving for the Pro instead. That’s mind blowing you think they are close to the QC20! The blessing and curse of the AirPods are they ARE small. I always thought about buying the silicon case and now I’m kicking myself for not doing it. I lost my last AirPods because the smooth plastic case is SLIPPERY and they slipped out of my pockets while laying down in my hotel room. Info had the silicone case I’d still have them today. Someone at that hotel just scored some sweet headphones. 🤷🏻♂️
Just to answer everyone’s question because I had the same question. Just received my AirPods pro and I tested both outside. The noice cancellation on both is the same. If I were to rank both noise cancellation out of 10 I’d put qc20’s at 8 and AirPods at 8.5 slightly better
Good and honest review without any nonsense. Great!
The fact that he omitted 16 hour playback vs 4 hour playback makes me think it's an Apple sponsored video.

Which earbuds are dry good in flight for noise cancelling??
Hey Brian. Hope all is well. What case are you using for your iPad?
It’s from a company called Zugu. Highly recommend it. I tried others as well but this one works the best. Lots of adjustable angles and magnetic.
Thanks a lot, yes I noticed it on the video and need to replace the limited case I have
