SA will likely be better now than mlynar in cases of 1) more minor enemies being defeated 2) having sp speeding teammates like stainless or/and ptilopsis 3) Sp recovery buffs like in SSS or IS 4) invisible enemies (even better now, especially stationary/ flying and tanky invisible enemies)

@@schmushschroom3873 SA being fragile while using S3 can easily be resolved by putting someone on front of him to tank, e.g. Gavial, specter/ specter alter with S2 heliddrop etc. if required. You can just keep him in one place, but if you want to redeploy him, his cost is still bearable tbh. There are a number of low ops videos I've seen that involved helidropping SA, Surtr etc. Its bearable because they do not have reduced redeploy times.

A friendly reminder the dmg buff for SA wasn't the main thing it has lol. It's actually a helidrop moldule for not only SA and allies near him so you can expect to see him even more on challenge run where redeploy is needed.
20% is REALLY good but the "allies within the adjacent tiles" part is kinda hard to fulfill when he himself is out of the field.. i kinda wish they made him have that when he's in the squad like the original one but ig thatd make him too overpowered a support unit 💀

People are overlooking how SA shares a deploy slot with ops like Texas and yato while mlynar takes up the deploy slot the entire time. If you’re short on deploy slots, you’re not comparing mlynar to SA but mlynar to SA + Texas + anything else you’re rotating in that last slot.
Yeah. Redeploying lets him use his s3 sooner than if you had left him on the field and waited for natural sp regen. Plus he has a talent that reduce redeploy timers, so he makes the ops you helidrop stronger as well.

I usually hate/loathe “use em both” but In this case you actually have to similar damage designs with completely different playstyle. Defense, utility, block, range,rdt, invis reveal, taunt. These operates have enough things that don’t overlap now. Wonderful stuff
also for helidrop purpose, SA have more edge here since he only need few second for S3 ready while mylnar need 40 sec after being deployed to get full atk stack.

Huh, damage wise, it's actually nearing Mlynar level, i guess around 70-85%ish? but damage aside, He basically became ground eyja helidrop with 60-70'sec skill downtime no? i mean, it can be even faster if ptilopsis was deployed or in her range, but considering he can be deployed to reach some tricky tiles or to snipe or weaken some high value target with that +15% damage to elites, it's quite an upgrade. but yeah, still powercreeped in most cases, but hey, at least he's fitting better to current state of the game with this module.
I think the damage is close enough, especially since there are edge cases where his can actually be notably better, makes a solid case that they're both at least playing in the same ballpark of power level now

Probably best its just some basic showcase against tanky enemy before and after and thats it ngl. Qiubai is loved! It's just unfortunate because it's hard to shine in a class where there are so many almighty characters already. Silverash never truly lost relevance because he's already powerful just by existing in the team. Thorns is like a ground sniper while Lappland is known as the crazy one with the best Silence shtick. And outside of the Lords we got Mlynar and Surtr being the beeg damage characters.
I don't have Qiubai and I'm having a hard time finding her without module on support, while I have a friend with the module. If I find her without module and they accept my friend request, I'll try to make a showcase, but no promises. Update: got the module-less S3 Qiubai. I might make a video in the next days. I mean it is interesting first skill if you have to use it off of cooldown SA should just out preform by a significant amount. he now actually has helidrop over mlynar. I mean overall mlynar is better if you factor in power creep the enemies are gonna get later down the line (I am making the assumption that enemies get even harder) where the full mlynar damage will matter. in SSS SA should just be better for example. there are edge cases outside of FRD stall where SA outperforms mlynar now. yes mlynar is the overall better unit

Now he also compete for slot with fast redeploy too such as yato alter & texalt Both of them have s3 that help them do damage, yato with immunity on s3 & texalt's stun to help her survive when dealing dmg. SA's will die with his - def. Both of them also has much faster redeployment too, giving them more chance to activate their skill Not even comparable to mlynar's placement too. I personally always pair him with reed alter & just drop mlynar in the middle of enemy. Most of the time he survive, with his tankiness. Tanky guard that can tank ranged atk & having high burst with short cycle is overpowered for a reason Well at least he can compete with mlynar if he need to activate his skill fast & too many trash mob

I think the biggest advantage Mlynar has over SA is the SP cost. Mlynar take 42s to recharge while SA take about 60s with being redeploy.

I mean it is interesting first skill if you have to use it off of cooldown SA should just out preform by a significant amount. he now actually has helidrop over mlynar. I mean overall mlynar is better if you factor in power creep the enemies are gonna get later down the line (I am making the assumption that enemies get even harder) where the full mlynar damage will matter. in SSS SA should just be better for example. there are edge cases outside of FRD stall where SA outperforms mlynar now. yes mlynar is the overall better unit
@@thejuggernight1406 Ur right on this. Mlynar deals less dph than SA on helidrop so SA wins over that matter finally now. Eh im glad either way, SA is better now lol
Back then trash, now barely usable lol. Like did u guys forgot that he has - def on s3? Now he also compete for slot with fast redeploy too such as yato alter & texalt
Both of them have s3 that help them do damage, yato with immunity on s3 & texalt's stun to help her survive when dealing dmg. SA's will die with his - def. Both of them also has much faster redeployment too, giving them more chance to activate their skill
Not even comparable to mlynar's placement too. I personally always pair him with reed alter & just drop mlynar in the middle of enemy. Most of the time he survive, with his tankiness. Tanky guard that can tank ranged atk & having high burst with short cycle is overpowered for a reason
Well at least he can compete with mlynar if he need to activate his skill fast & too many trash mob
This is why I am not getting Silverash module, but am considering to get Thorns' module.
