Well it's not that they are expected to be multicultural, they just are due to immigration. People just aren't going to those other countries. And people in those countries aren't prideful of race, they are prideful of their nationality.
Europe wouldn’t have had to be multicultural if they didn’t colonize all these foreign countries. Look at the Netherlands for example, they colonized Surinam, The Dutch Antilles and Sint-Martin. When the world decided that colonization wasn’t something that follows the rights of freedom that’s when the Netherlands had to take it for themselves to give these colonized people the option to work/live in the Netherlands. The same goes for a lot of other European countries, Europe is open to refugees and immigrants. Also why would any ‘white’ person living in a first world country migrate to either Africa, India or China, our economy is already very good and the political differences are too big to understand. Europe is multicultural due to their open borders and because our economy is very good, which makes it attract immigrants to seek better life here. Hope you understand, the point he made was not valid at all.
