China’s Economy: Historical Perspective and Future Outlook (CEIBS Global EMBA Master Class)

In this CEIBS Global EMBA Master Class, Professor of Economics and Finance Xu Bin examines China’s economy from a historical perspective and offers his views about its prospects for the future. He discussed China’s economic path, “New Era,” and style of modernization, as well as the future outlook for the country’s economy.
Prof. Xu Bin is an influential Chinese economist and finance expert. He is the Wu Jinglian Chair Professor in Economics at CEIBS. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University and has published extensively in both international and Chinese journals.
This lecture is followed by a panel discussion with senior Global EMBA alumni about China's economic outlook.
