I have a VP that I have not inked yet. I was saving for a gift. After seeing your video I think I will keep this one to ink and try it. Love your handwriting!
To my shame or obsession, I have way too many Pilot Vanishing Point pens. Something about the pen makes me want to use all the ink at once. I find that I can write forever with my PVP. I prefer a medium nib but have found that Pilot makes excellent Fine nibs, I've tried other brands (looking at you Lamy) Fine nibs and they just don't feel as good. Plus I can't lie being able to fidget and click the pen is a small joy.
I had the same Vanishing Point that I had to let go because the barrel is just too big but I'm keeping my Decimo, it is waaayy better than VP in my opinion. Very nice video anyway. Cheers
Interesting to hear your thoughts on the vanishing point. I've had mine for 2 years now and I love it! It's one of my favourite pens because I don't have to worry about it. I know the nib is safe and that no cap will will fall off. I find it very comfortable to write with, though I have a decimo which is a thinner version. I suppose for a fountain pen it does look a bit odd but I think that's why I like it so much. I'm considering getting another one with a F nib (I have a M now) but haven't yet as it is a bit steep in price for a student ;)
The VP is an awesome pen. Have you checked out the Lamy Dialog 3? That is an AWESOME pen that retracts! Sell your VP & a few other pens & get the Dialog 3.
Do you have a favorite ink for signing receipts? I like Noodler's Heart of Darkness, as it dries quickly. I feel the same way you do about the vanishing point, and have the exact same one. It also dries out really easy, so if I leave it in a folio for on the go writing, it ends up dry in a week or so.
Help! I lose pens. A. Lot. Can you recommend a pen? I have always been a journal keeper, but..the pen thing is an issue. Also, do they leak when traveling with them? Thank you! I LOVE your channel in all aspects. You are so encouraging!
I don't think you could go wrong with a TWSBI eco. The nibs are a thing of beauty, especially for the price. Best of luck with whatever you choose though :)
Hi Alicia! Do you still have your Pilot Vanishing Point? and did you find it a bit too large for your hands (and would recommend the Pilot VP Decimo instead?) Love you 💕💕💕
Hello! I don’t have the vanishing point anymore. Sometimes I think about trying it again. I liked the nib, and the size didn’t feel big at all. It’s a slimmer pen. I’m not a fan of the converter that it uses though, but people make it work! I’ve not tried the decimo, so I don’t know how much smaller it would be. The vanishing point is a nice pen and if you’re keen on clicking, it’s especially fun, haha.
@@adventuredenali Thank you so much for answering my question!!!! Well, now I might be extremely tended to try it (Would you recommend the design/pattern you'd chosen? Because on pictures/not in real life it is sometimes hard to envision it)🥰Ps : I cannot wait to see your video on your favorite pen and ink 💕 Have a great day Alicia!
@@adventuredenali Thank you so much 🥰 Now I know I will, in the foreseeable future, get a Vanishing Point (the glossy finish is much more appealing than the Decimo finish) 🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@adventuredenali I just wanted to tell thank you! I've received my beautiful new pen (I chose the vanishing point - and you were right, it is a slim pen, so the decimo would have been too small for me) and the blue graphite finish is gorgeous! But above all, the nib is incredible! Thank you Alicia 💕💕💕
I’m a complete newbie, and have three pens inked-although I’m having fun, something told me not to ink any more. It seems you feel more or less the same?
Everyone approaches pens differently of course, but yeah, I think my general sentiment is to only have a handful of pens inked up at a given time. I get overwhelmed when pens sit inked and unused for prolonged periods of time. My sweet spot is 1-2 pens, unless I’m feeling particularly inspired, then I’ll ink up more. :) Have fun and happy writing!
I adore how perfect your cursive is. 🥰 I’m in awe. I love your channel. You helped me get back into journaling and I’m incredibly great full to you.

Nice. I bought a Lamy Studio with a fine steel nib after your earlier video. It is now my new favorite pen!
Gary Gentile oh that’s so fantastic!

I looooove my VP Decimo! I also find the clicking very satisfying 😂
Click, click, click

@@sarahsilvere I thought it was beautiful in person and like that design very much

Try the Pilot Decimo. I prefer the Decimo to the VP as its a bit slimmer and lighter in the hand, but it has the same nib as the VP.

She should put a link in the description to where we can buy this pen. Maybe she could become an Amazon affiliate.
M. McGuire Lamy and the Pilot are from Gouletpens.com and the Sailor is from Pensachi.com
@@adventuredenali Thank you ✍🏿
You should upload daily, just to look at your Beautiful Face and Gorgeous Smile ❤️
Just not my cup of tea. Too much resemblance to a ball point.
