I have both. The Hoody is what I would get if I only could get one. The difference is the oven is a lot more warmer but does not have the hood. The hoody is water repellent the oven is not. The hoody has wind stopper the oven does not. The oven was made to go under something . If you could afford two you would definitely want to go with the oven under the delta wader , Oven very warm and Wader 100% waterproof and it has wind stopper. I have found out with those two you are handled from start to finish of season.
I am thinking of buying this hoodie. I have the Browning Dirty Bird 2 in 1 parka but the inside is a little to bulky for me most of the time but warm. I’m thinking the Dakota hoodie with the Browning shell will be just as good as the Sitka outer shell!
Being from Texas it doesn’t really get below 19° during season so would you recommend the hoodie over the duck oven still? I feel as though the wind is what was killing me last season and I could do a long sleeve thermal layer under the hoodie and be fine. But again from Texas so the cold does get to me even though I like it.
yeah if i had to choose between the hoodie and the duck oven im going with the hoodie every time! It has a hood and the jacket is much more durable. you cant go wrong with it
@@alexerickson9266 I do not have the Hudson, but from what I have found is the sizing runs very true. I wear a medium in every jacket I own and have tried on
@@kylehuff4177 two or three layers is all I have ever worn under it. plenty of room for them and keeps me plenty warm! 3 of the right layers under it will keep you comfortable well below 20
It doesnt have the wind stopper. Its more of an actual hoodie than a jacket. The outside wont stop wind or rain. Its a great piece to wear if its warmer or there is no chance of rain! It also works great as an insulation layer under something like the dakota hoody!
Your channel deserves so much more than what you’re getting! Keep it up, brother!
Bought this jacket and watched while waiting for it to ship. Great video. Searched the comments for sizing, which was my only question.
Well done man the editing was awesome and just an awesome video in general!

Vtang01 can’t go wrong with that! If I was only looking for a layer under an outer shell, I would consider the duck oven also!

Sold! Gonna go great with my delta pants.
How would this hoodie be with the Delta wading jacket over it?
What size do is where I’m I’m thinking about getting one but don’t know the size that I would need.
Im 5'9 160 and wear a meduim
if you click the link, down at the bottom there is a sizing chart
What size is that? And how tall are you?
I wear a Medium. Im 5'9 and 160 pounds
@@JTCalls Do you have the Hudson also? Just trying to figure out a size so I don't need to send anything back.

Can you get enough layers underneath it for temps in the 20’s and 30’s? Or would you want to go the next size up?

Is the outside the same stretch-like material as the Dakota pants?
yep!
What’s the difference between this and the gradient hoodie
