Holy shit how good were the hands of the Red's forwards. Decison making was top-tier from them. McReight looks like he had a phenomenal game and should be a playmaking threat. Those two giveaway tries put the game beyond reach for the rebels. Pity because had they not given the first one away, they could have turned the tables.
its just looking for support and playing the ball not the player. none of them did a 50/50 pass they all look before they pass which is key to getting tries in my eyes.
That wasn't top tier rugby. No defensive line speed and the defence was pretty poor when 90 points are chalked up.

if schmidt and australia want to be competitive this year their starting pack has to be more than less most of the reds pack thier the best set of fowards as a unit for the wallabies teams by far then any of the other teams

Such a shame to see union struggling so much in Oz. I may be off the mark being English and I love me some NRL and AFL but the wallabies have such a proud history but the union game seems to be struggling down under. In terms of attendance and overall quality in recent years. There's still so much talent on this evidence and all.

The rebels have got to go. Empty crowds like this is hurting the brand of super rugby and having weaker teams like theirs is lowering the standards of the stronger Aussie teams. The Reds have started the season well, it’s probably because they started against NZ teams but playing the rebels and force will bring it back down. Super rugby has made the mistake of going for quantity over quality. They should go back to only having semi finals without quater finals as well. I went to the blues vs Waratahs quarter final, very small crowd because there was no competition. At least the Waratahs and Reds have been looking good this year. The rebels have some good players, but it’s not worth having them in an extra team.

Seems it’s the latter, attendance is alright for the other Aussie teams. Hard for the rebels to compete with 10 other contact sports teams in the city (9 afl 1 nrl)

It's because Aussie teams have been pathetic for yonks. Interest has declined because who wants to watch a comp that's decided in round 1. The rebels and force should never have been a thing. The quicker super rugby gets rid of them the better. Or.. salary cap the entire league.
