Hi Mike - Boxing Day but fortunately not heater box-in day. Pleased to hear that it should last 'till lunchtime. Hope you had a nice Christmas Day and enjoyed some time off.
About 500 transactions in 6 hours = I sorted it, but they use sites like mine to process stolen card number - if one gets processed then they can use it to empty accounts of the owner
@@BritannicaRestorations Proper low life w⚓'s Mike. Good that you caught it in time. The more the internet becomes a haven for digital control, corruption and mindless bollocks, the more I'm stepping back from it.
Yeap, the online shop was a good idea, but many items were copied, and the cost of the 'security' and cloud rental, hardly covers the cost to run it now
As we all think we are 18! we think of our Landrover as a new car- In many cases it is a 25+ classic car . Try to get part for a Mini or a Jag E . It is very ok to make body repair on a heater box . If I go to Opel to get parts for my 20 years old corsa : No we don't keep parts for over Ten years old cars!
spot on timing with this one, my slow speed has just stopped working. Hoping its a wire off the switch BUT if it is the resistor (I did fully rebuild the heater new motor, blasted and plated metal work). If you still have it on the bench or know, do you know the resistance of the resistor? If it's failed Ill just get a metal clad mountable one.
Just ordered one for a Hitachi 12ton digger. 24v, should fit nicely, fingers crossed. Just under £100. Even if it's not a perfect fit, it shouldn't take much to get installed.
Happy Christmas Mike- is it possible to work out position one on the switch so the fan spins a bit more - as position one is a bit too low- it would mean a new resistor but what value to replace it with- this would be s great help as i plan to overhaul mine.

That's why the Range Rover took so long - the aftermarket parts are mainly focused on Defenders

And Merry Christmas! I forgot that, as it was yesterday here in Germany
Merry Christmas to you too!
The heater blower for my Wolf HS90 24v, is, in £ - now sit down for this! £2078.84. That is in the UK
Bugger me! (well, not literary) but why not put a use 12v on with a transformer?
@@BritannicaRestorations That could likely work, but I was confused as to what to add with the multiple settings of the heater

You would have to play with a different resistor in the motor - I have no idea what the value would be
@ ok i will experiment but as i love the experiments you do it might be an interesting exercise.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Dziękuję!
Życzę wspaniałych Świąt Bożego Narodzenia
