6:28 maybe to remedy this you could give W boxes charges and then make it so subsequent fears from each new box someone runs into goes down from the current fear duration we have. Ex. Box #1 fears for 1.5s like they always have, but then box #2 fears for 1s, then box #3 fears for 0.33s, something like that. This would make it so you couldn’t stack fear on someone for like 6 seconds cause yeah that’s pretty op lol. Ult fear duration shouldn’t change regardless because that would be too big of a nerf imo.

I didn't quite catch the intent of the changes you wanted to bring up Pink Ward, although keep in mind that shaco's versatility works against him or as they call it "jack of all trades, master of none".
Shaco can be played as mage, assassin, bruiser, tank but there are always better picks for those specific jobs. The thing is that Shaco can change his game plan while the enemy cannot change their picks.
IMHO, I would say the initial fear of the first box that anyone triggers should inflict a 50% longer fear than it currently is, a second one would fall to the current fear length and anything beyond second would only have a .1 duration to stop channelings. putting a stacking debuff with 15 seconds on first 2 boxes effect and per champion should make it more interesting for Shaco in teamfights. The clone explosion would work as it is working right now so debuff wouldn't affect it but with 1 twist, I would make that a Super Fear, change the name to horrified/you got clowned, but make it so merc does not affect it. Why ? because it's on a decently long cooldown and it would slightly take away from knock-ups being the only CC unaffected by tenacity.
also boxes should stealth 50% faster or have 50% damage reduction before being activated because they can be 1 shot way too easy right now.
For anyone saying buffing the initial fear box would make it too strong, get mercs and hush hush.
current Shaco is a shadow of how strong he was when he got made, I don't think a single LoL character got nerfed more often than Shaco, sure the 100% win glitch had to be fixed but our little clown hasn't had an easy life in League.
Oh, one last change, boxes should break momentum from dashes. Riot has been giving way too many superarmor movement skills against a small little jack, not too fair and very shabby, stooping so low that even a clown can't compete for the last laugh is not very reasonable :)

Maybe nerf the bonus damage from Q, and give it a short fear if using it from stealth. It balances AD Shaco by forcing him to spend more time attacking the enemy by not having as much up front damage, but the fear makes it so the backstabs from passive are easier to get off. Then there can be a ap ratio to the duration of the fear, so there's more incentive for AP shaco to actually use Q offensively and risk going in for cc rather than just spamming boxes. It could also help push people into boxes, or allow for cc combos. Plus, the fear would identify the real shaco which makes it riskier to just repeatedly use it. AD Shaco is very much a stat stick champion that is more in line with Talon, and giving more information to the enemy while also allowing for agency from the Shaco player will just breed more counterplay and skill expression.
how does shojin works on shaco?
It just gives a lot of ability haste, which is by far shaco’s best stat to build. And AD is better early game than AP.

Shaco boxes only proc on things you can see. So stealth like Viegos mist doesn’t work on them

Pink ward why dont u change the way u play shaco kinda like bauffs in the top lane pushing waves as fast as posible deep in their base and if they come for you try to buy as much time posible but always prioritizing the farm so letting ur clone rdy to burst the wave to prevent the push. There is a rammus game from him he explains that playstyle looks dumb but even if the other top laner is 5/0/2 he wont be able to carry and he most of the time is right rammus end up becoming a pain in the ass. Maybe u can develop some tanky/cdr build to clean waves fast and even if u died the wave is cleared. The way u play shaco is super strategical but what happen if u go full monke just farming with items that let u clear waves fast i wonder whats the result of Bauffs strat with your champ. He is currently doing it with Sion / AP Jax/ Lee sin/ Voli/ Rammus/ and the cool thing is he shows the amount of gold he has at the end of the game and is higher than many of the players that perform like gods.
Because shaco can't 1 shot waves.
@@PinkWardlol oh i know but what if u rush tiamat + attack speed build while the box is fearing the wave u clean up using the item is like instead of letting ur hp go down to bait the enemy into ur boxes u uss them to get gold/exp because some lanes are insuferable in the top with shaco.
