Hello, I stumbled upon your channel just yesterday and I have to tell you just how much I love it. I’m a card maker and small crafts, and you have inspired me to do more. I’m always intimated, however you make it look so fun! I love Pooh and passing ton so much, oh and Beatrix potter. I live in the USA and I thinks it’s so wonderful that we can connect via internet. I'm from the US too and love the International community Janet has gathered thru her art. You might enjoy looking back on her many and varied posts. Monday morning she does a live video and you can chat awhile. Tuesday is process video day where she demonstrates paper crafting, slow stitching, painting, journaling, etc and Friday is usually a flip-through of a finished journal. I know you will find her channel very inspiring, warm and welcoming, positive, and quite educational.

Dear Janet this was such a lovely video thank you so much my teddy bear now lives with my grandson he looks a little worse for wear the teddy bear that is . He is loved and has been loved for many years . First by me then my brother then my two children and finally my grandchildren this is going to make a very lovely journal for you I have an idea the little pictures in the calendar would make the perfect size for a waterfall if you haven't made one check out attic treasure she has the best way of explaining it love and blessings

Hi~I'm new to your channel. I'd just like to make a comment, no complaining from me, ever.....You mentioned "bone-folder" I worked in a library for a while, and our "bone-folders" were antiques and made of real bone! They had yellowed quite a bit, but were lovely to hold. Also, the picture of the bear, and your comment was, lovely. They're not so lovely when they attack all your bird feeders right after you've filled them. Those beasties scare me. I really appreciate your calming nature. Give Freddy and Honey (am I right here?) a scratch on the chin from me. PS We're related to AA Milnes' wife, Daphne, does that make me a 3Xcousin to Winnie?
Mandy so nice to meet you. Oh wow bears in the garden ! when my son went to Canada he would have liked to see bears but on the other hand was relieved !!
Freddie the larger dog is my constant companion and little Honey is his friend, she had popped over for the day.
A relative of AA Millne how wonderful, the hundred acre woods is based on a real place in Sussex, it has the little bridge too, for the odd game of Pooh sticks, Freddie stayed there with a friend once and enjoyed lots of lovely walks there 🌳

Oh thank you so much Fawn, I didn’t realise how much teddy stuff so had ! There are 4 different Paddington bear 50 pence coins, and the are still in circulation and can be spent, it’s always fun to check you’re change, but we use contactless cards more and more now.

What a cute journal! I still have my childhood teddy. I put him at the top of the Christmas tree each year. Well I haven't been able to last few years as our tree was too small but then he goes underneath and wears a red bow. So nice of you to read some Winnie the Pooh to us. Freddy is so adorable❤️❤️❤️ the calmest doggie in the world❤️❤️❤️ I love that you tell us to use what we have. There are channels I watch that are great, but promote so much purchase requirements and expensive stuff, it is discouraging rather than motivational. So you feel undersupplied to do anything. But, I am fine with what I have. Iv been collecting junkmail and bits for a year now. And trying to get magazines which finding free is not so easy.
I adore this idea of collecting likeness clippings! The 90s were the best for calendars! I have saved a few from expiry at the gift shops. They get trashed if not sold. genius way to make themed projects. My goodness this calendar would have been such a prize for me. Even now. I am a child at heart :) its too cute! I wanted all things Cabbage Patches as a child.
Are the wooden drawers from Ikea? I always wanted a vintage cabinet with pull drawers but these can be modified to look old!
Jane, oh it is a such a blessing to keep, find or rediscover our childhood wonder.
One of the best parts of a journal like this, is collecting over time, no rush.
Yes the drawers are from IKEA, years ago, I can’t resist decorating something, I friend popped round the other day with a cardboard draw set that once contained makeup! that’s getting covered.

crafters. That is a good friend! I love the fabric scraps you get.
I think we can build some drawer organizers out of shipping boxes then cover them though wood is sturdier.
I loved your handmade chair what a talented man! and your covered trunk deserves a look through. I might do this to an old broken jewelry box from the 70s instead of painting it. Decoupage it as a winter project.
I hope you will do some crochet, knitting show and tell one day. You clearly are very talented. I love crochet and knitting. I had the ambition to make myself some Irish and Norwegian cardigans, but they will be hard for me as I never followed written patterns in crochet or knitting before. I forgot how to make sleeves.
Oh, Today I finish fall chores outside, and gather all the leaves, cedar and seeds I can. 🎃we might get snow soon! its too early!

You’re right it was a makeup advent calendar. I find one a cardboard box has paper and layers of glue ( podpodge or PVA ) it is quite strong and sturdy. Yes it’s always such a fun project to cover. I love crochet and knitting as well, started a pair of fingerless ( knitting ) yesterday.
