Creating a Book Cover with Affinity Photo for Windows

  • I was recently asked if I thought Affinity Photo could replace Photoshop by someone who creates book covers. Rather than just say yes, I thought I would try out Affinity Photo for Windows by recreating one of my book covers. Ironically it was the "Photoshop Layers" book that got the Affinity treatment. See how I got on in this video.

    Limited in scope. What about the back cover and spine?

    I'm guessing you can create a blank workspace where when you can create the front, back, and spine separately you are able then combine into one full image, yes?

      As it was an eBook I only needed the front cover. If I were creating a print version I would probably create three images as you describe and then combine them into one.
