My bias is wheein. I love her so much she is amazing. She has left the company they were in but she’s still in the group right now. They haven’t had a comeback though, so I’m hoping for one soon. One of my fave idols. Moonbyul has lookalikes with male idols and it’s interesting. She likes to be referred to as handsome more than pretty because she said it makes her unique. I love that. She has a different vibe to the other girls and it makes her really stand out. She’s my wrecker. They’re a crackhead group. Mamamoo has become my fav GG. I’m not really the biggest fan of groups doing a lot of Pop sounds but Mamamoo does Pop in an excellent way. Their music for me just feels timeless. I genuinely think no matter what decade we are into the future, their songs will still be relevant. In my opinion they’re the best vocalist GG out there in KPOP. I mean not only can Moonbyul sing but she’s also such an amazing rapper. She has her own sound, her own style, and she stands out a lot as a female rapper. Then you have Hwasa, Wheein, & Solar. Three power vocalist who can attack the same line in a powerful way but still make it their own because they’re all vocally strong. People who’ve went to a Mamamoo concert have said it’s like watching something Iconic and is something that you have too experience at least once in your lifetime. I really hope you do get more into their discoreograyhy. If you’re interested in recommendations on what songs of theirs to react to next, I recommend: “Mr. Ambiguous”(this is their debut song), “Um Oh Ah Yeah”, “Starry Night”(a very popular one), & “Gogobebe”. Right now, it's more as solo artists than a group but we've just recently got a group performance again so that was really good :) Mamamoo generally are known to be amazing performers - so much that people often prefer live performances over the MVs... As far as I could tell, your pronounciation was good so don't worry :) Someone recommended to start from the beginning which I'd absolutely second! Their predebut songs are "Don't Be Happy" & "Peppermint Chocolate", their debut is called "Mr. Ambigious". The first comeback was "Piano Man" and then it just went from there... They also released an best-of-album last year in which they remastered, rerecorded and/or had a different version to earlier songs. Absolutely amazing! About Moonbyul looking like Xiumin / Minhyuk: I was actually surprised how you caught that since a lot of people don't notice it at first. But even the members are aware of the resemblance (especially since they're close to BTOB). Moonbyul herself says she looks more like Minhyuk, especially without make-up I'd say. When they first met, both of them were just as surprised as fans (even said "Oi" as the first thing). But that just as a fun fact.
If you want to watch the mvs in reverse chronological order there are actually a couple that you missed so the next four would be Mumumumuch, Where Are We Now, Wanna Be Myself and Gogobebe. I laughed when you mentioned Byul looked like Minseok because I've always thought the same! MMM debuted with a jazzy retro sound which I love then later expanded into other genres, some of my favourites are Um Oh Ah Yeh, Taller Than You, You're The Best, Woo Hoo, Yes I Am and Wind Flower! They each have incredible solo music as well, and there is an iconic song called Honey Bee with Mamamoo's Solar, EXID's Hani and f(x)'s Luna that is an absolute must see, vocals for days!!! Gleam is a "CF" (commercial film, or advertisement) for Davich, a brand of glasses in Korea. Mamamoo has made 7 CFs for various brands, and they are all good songs on their own except one (I'm looking at you, Sky Sky). Gleam is really good, but one of Mamamoo's best songs, Woo Hoo, is a CF for LG phones.
The great thing with Mamamoo is that their discography is so diverse so you can literally search different types of playlists from their 200+ catalog of music., from mellow/study to party playlists and everything in between. They are seasoned artists who didn't stop making music since 2014. And that's a flex. You should check out their ballads, one of my fave!

MAMA MAMA MAMAMOO!!! Can't get enough Mamamoo! They have the reputation of having the best vocals in Kpop, and being the biggest crackheads/goofballs in the business. They debuted about the same time as BTS, with similar obstacles to overcome. The two groups became friends and in the past have hosted shows together. Their discography is diverse and has 350+ titles in the catalog. Some of their live performances, especially at awards shows in front of their peers, are legendary in Kpop history. When Mamamoo takes the stage, better put the kiddies to bed cause the adults have come to play. They all have very successful solo music endeavors, in fact Solar is currently starring in the lead role of Korea's musical MATA HARI. OK so MAMAMOO - I've heard some songs that I loved, and I know that they are basically the greatest vocal group next to Red Velvet, but I've never done a deep dive in their music soooooo I'm so excited that you're doing this now so I can come along with you! :D I looove Dingga, I've been listening to it a lot lately. Every kpop vocalist ranking puts some of their vocalists up next to our RV ladies - so... I've also heard their individual voices quite a lot aside from the songs I know. :) No one will top RV Vocals for me, but I'm happy to have another high quality vocalist group to stan. Aya - tbh wasn't sure if I would almost ever listen to this song again, but the bridge to the end of the song pulled me back in! It's a little.... I mean ok watching the video I hate saying "boring" at the beginning because obviously they are serving a LOT. But musically for me the first part is kinda not very interesting compared to some other MAMAMOO songs I've heard, but then the bridge and end! Niiiice. Dingga is already on repeat over here - disco vibes, great rap, excellent beat switchup for the bridge, and now that I've seen the video I love that little choreo where they are squatted down and swinging their arm - that is SO simple and charismatic. Hip - I already knew I loved Moonbyul but gosh every rap she keeps solidifying that for me. I looove Hwasa's face. I mean not just her face but gosh she is so stunning every time it features on her face I'm like *starry eyes*. This one can be added to the playlist. Gleam - It's ok! They sound great, but not adding to the playlist, you know?

MAMAMOO are often at the center of "controversy" with the Korean media because they are threatened by confident and comfortable women. Like Solar has done pole dancing at an award show and has worn a bra on stage before because netizens and the media were judging what she wore. Hwasa also was under fire for wearing no bra at the airport and for wearing tight outfits (since she's curvy she gets hated on a lot by toxic media and netizens). Hwasa is my bias but I love every single member of this group and have followed them since shortly after the song "Pride of 1cm (Taller Than You)" came out. They are my favorite girl group. I HIGHLY suggest their songs: Windflower, Starry Night (the end of the MV has a snip of Hwasa's solo 'Be Calm'), Piano Man, and Decalcomanie. Even their B-sides and CF tracks are AMAZING. Also their Killing Voice video is honestly one of the best in my opinion (Hwasa was sick when they filmed it but she still slayed). I also maybe suggest eventually their live cover of the old hit song "Passion Flower" because it's really sexy and they slayed that stage. RBW has some talented artists under them. Like MAMAMOO are incredibly talented, but also their little brothers in ONEUS and ONEWE are also amazing. I don't know all of the groups under RBW clearly, but I follow those three and have followed ONEUS/ONEWE since they both debuted.

You finally met the vocal queens of 3rd gen kpop
The maturity of their music is really what sold me on them, after their harmonies/vocal talents. My first experience with them was their Killing Voice performance. My second was Piano Man.
Mamamoo has become my fav GG. I’m not really the biggest fan of groups doing a lot of Pop sounds but Mamamoo does Pop in an excellent way. Their music for me just feels timeless. I genuinely think no matter what decade we are into the future, their songs will still be relevant. In my opinion they’re the best vocalist GG out there in KPOP. I mean not only can Moonbyul sing but she’s also such an amazing rapper. She has her own sound, her own style, and she stands out a lot as a female rapper. Then you have Hwasa, Wheein, & Solar. Three power vocalist who can attack the same line in a powerful way but still make it their own because they’re all vocally strong. People who’ve went to a Mamamoo concert have said it’s like watching something Iconic and is something that you have too experience at least once in your lifetime. I really hope you do get more into their discoreograyhy. If you’re interested in recommendations on what songs of theirs to react to next, I recommend: “Mr. Ambiguous”(this is their debut song), “Um Oh Ah Yeah”, “Starry Night”(a very popular one), & “Gogobebe”. I think those songs showcase Mamamoo’s different sounds from debut up to now(besides their ballads which are also amazing). Hope you enjoy their music:))))

Hwasa At the beginning of her debut with the group, she was hated and bullied a lot because of her dark skin and plump body. She suffered a lot in Korea, but in one of the show, she told the people that I will create the standards of beauty, not your words.
I just watched a react to a performance with her and Seulgi, I'm not BRAND new to MAMAMOO but I haven't learned anything about the members and I saw someone said something like "I love what she stands for" and I was getting the idea that she was about being herself and different maybe regarding appearance but I didn't have any context. Thanks for this!

MAMAMOO is an amazing girl group known for their live vocals,too..same with BTOB and they are friendly with each other . Solar and Changsub are close friends and they are together now in the MATA HARI musical that already started this June.
Mamamoo's discography is so diverse and is 98% no-skip. THEN you have their solos, OSTs, covers, CFs. It's a great journey! Mamamoo are vocal and performance Queens! Very confident in their craft and talent, and it shows through ❤

I hope you can check out more Mamamoo. You're in that they're fun girls and get along (but have never painted their friendship as all rainbows and sunshine). Hwasa and Wheein have actually known each other since middle school. They're very real and relateable. If you ever want a break from watching or reacting to their songs, there are a lot of crack compilations, variety show appearances (mostly in their earlier years), fun dance practices, MMMTV, etc. So much content!

Yeah, they're one of the older groups (both age-wise and year-wise in the industry) but they're still super active! Right now, it's more as solo artists than a group but we've just recently got a group performance again so that was really good :)
Mamamoo generally are known to be amazing performers - so much that people often prefer live performances over the MVs...

They also released an best-of-album last year in which they remastered, rerecorded and/or had a different version to earlier songs. Absolutely amazing!
About Moonbyul looking like Xiumin / Minhyuk: I was actually surprised how you caught that since a lot of people don't notice it at first. But even the members are aware of the resemblance (especially since they're close to BTOB). Moonbyul herself says she looks more like Minhyuk, especially without make-up I'd say. When they first met, both of them were just as surprised as fans (even said "Oi" as the first thing). But that just as a fun fact.

If you want to watch the mvs in reverse chronological order there are actually a couple that you missed so the next four would be Mumumumuch, Where Are We Now, Wanna Be Myself and Gogobebe. I laughed when you mentioned Byul looked like Minseok because I've always thought the same! MMM debuted with a jazzy retro sound which I love then later expanded into other genres, some of my favourites are Um Oh Ah Yeh, Taller Than You, You're The Best, Woo Hoo, Yes I Am and Wind Flower! They each have incredible solo music as well, and there is an iconic song called Honey Bee with Mamamoo's Solar, EXID's Hani and f(x)'s Luna that is an absolute must see, vocals for days!!! Really looking forward to you discovering the radish girls (moo means radish in Korean, their lightstick is even radish shaped!)

Gleam is a "CF" (commercial film, or advertisement) for Davich, a brand of glasses in Korea. Mamamoo has made 7 CFs for various brands, and they are all good songs on their own except one (I'm looking at you, Sky Sky). Gleam is really good, but one of Mamamoo's best songs, Woo Hoo, is a CF for LG phones.
The great thing with Mamamoo is that their discography is so diverse so you can literally search different types of playlists from their 200+ catalog of music., from mellow/study to party playlists and everything in between. They are seasoned artists who didn't stop making music since 2014. And that's a flex. You should check out their ballads, one of my fave!

yoo im so happy you reacted to mamamoo! they're my favorite girl group. i feel you when you talked about the fluffy/cute stuff not being your vibe and i'm absolutely with you on that which is partially why mamamoo is so unique and great to me. they also have amazing vocals (would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend their killing voice video, i'm obsessed with it it's SO good). there's a lot to check out, they have more mvs definitely worth checking out and they also all have released solo work as well! hope to see more reactions of them when you have time~! thanks for the reaction!
MAMA MAMA MAMAMOO!!! Can't get enough Mamamoo! They have the reputation of having the best vocals in Kpop, and being the biggest crackheads/goofballs in the business. They debuted about the same time as BTS, with similar obstacles to overcome. The two groups became friends and in the past have hosted shows together. Their discography is diverse and has 350+ titles in the catalog. Some of their live performances, especially at awards shows in front of their peers, are legendary in Kpop history. When Mamamoo takes the stage, better put the kiddies to bed cause the adults have come to play. They all have very successful solo music endeavors, in fact Solar is currently starring in the lead role of Korea's musical MATA HARI.

OK so MAMAMOO - I've heard some songs that I loved, and I know that they are basically the greatest vocal group next to Red Velvet, but I've never done a deep dive in their music soooooo I'm so excited that you're doing this now so I can come along with you! :D I looove Dingga, I've been listening to it a lot lately. Every kpop vocalist ranking puts some of their vocalists up next to our RV ladies - so... I've also heard their individual voices quite a lot aside from the songs I know. :) No one will top RV Vocals for me, but I'm happy to have another high quality vocalist group to stan. Aya - tbh wasn't sure if I would almost ever listen to this song again, but the bridge to the end of the song pulled me back in! It's a little.... I mean ok watching the video I hate saying "boring" at the beginning because obviously they are serving a LOT. But musically for me the first part is kinda not very interesting compared to some other MAMAMOO songs I've heard, but then the bridge and end! Niiiice. Dingga is already on repeat over here - disco vibes, great rap, excellent beat switchup for the bridge, and now that I've seen the video I love that little choreo where they are squatted down and swinging their arm - that is SO simple and charismatic. Hip - I already knew I loved Moonbyul but gosh every rap she keeps solidifying that for me. I looove Hwasa's face. I mean not just her face but gosh she is so stunning every time it features on her face I'm like *starry eyes*. This one can be added to the playlist. Gleam - It's ok! They sound great, but not adding to the playlist, you know?

MAMAMOO are often at the center of "controversy" with the Korean media because they are threatened by confident and comfortable women. Like Solar has done pole dancing at an award show and has worn a bra on stage before because netizens and the media were judging what she wore. Hwasa also was under fire for wearing no bra at the airport and for wearing tight outfits (since she's curvy she gets hated on a lot by toxic media and netizens). Hwasa is my bias but I love every single member of this group and have followed them since shortly after the song "Pride of 1cm (Taller Than You)" came out. They are my favorite girl group.
I HIGHLY suggest their songs: Windflower, Starry Night (the end of the MV has a snip of Hwasa's solo 'Be Calm'), Piano Man, and Decalcomanie. Even their B-sides and CF tracks are AMAZING. Also their Killing Voice video is honestly one of the best in my opinion (Hwasa was sick when they filmed it but she still slayed). I also maybe suggest eventually their live cover of the old hit song "Passion Flower" because it's really sexy and they slayed that stage.
RBW has some talented artists under them. Like MAMAMOO are incredibly talented, but also their little brothers in ONEUS and ONEWE are also amazing. I don't know all of the groups under RBW clearly, but I follow those three and have followed ONEUS/ONEWE since they both debuted.
There are so many great MVs and performances from them-lol some of their older videos really crack me upppp😅Also, if you get a chance to do a second reaction could you add Egotistic?? After Aya, that’s my second favorite title MV/track from them-lol prepare for a similar in your face sexy vibe❤️🔥

Although the company treatment towards those 2 albums has been weird so they could be considered not comebacks and more like “fan gifts”, but still, those are the 2 recent Mamamoo MVs from 2021 :)!
