this kind of interview made me wish that there will ba a producer or anyone can handle at least one big variety for all the 2nd gen idol...i miss this kind of interaction and i miss all the 2nd gen in one frame like variety show back then... this is nostalgic and fun...
One of the things that is special about 2nd generation idols is that they weren't that many then compared to next gen. There are more interactions between artists. There is also a friendly competition between active artists. I would pay a million bucks if a show is able to gather all 2nd generation idols. That will be chaos. I miss 2AM. I'm really glad they're coming back.
I began stanning kpop during the 3rd gen but i kid u not 2nd gen looked so fun, peaceful, and most especially, ICONIC. So many legendary groups debuted that time. I wish i knew kpop earlier HAHAH
@@miriii_6066 i started during 2nd gen. It’s fun. They have different concepts from each other which is interesting. I’m more eager to learn other groups compared to today. I would say majority of the groups are really hilarious as well. There are more interactions in variety shows. I wouldn’t say it’s peaceful between fandoms though! It’s just different methods of fighting at present :))

Of course the current idols are talented and working hard but kpop used to be alot more fun back during the 2nd gen. Idols of the opposite gender pulled pranks on each other, hung out together and even appeared very friendly and close during broadcasts as well. There were scandals here and there but it wasn't as bad as it is now. I really want to see SHINee, SNSD, SuJu, Highlight, 2PM, 2PM and any other 2nd gen idols get together!! It would bring a whole new definition to the word chaos🤣😂

2nd gen idols and soloists literally spent the best moments of my teenage years with me too! I approve of this year (and last year) packed with their combacks and reunions ahhhhh
well jessi and 2am, both from 2nd generations. Jessi debut 2006 if I did not mistake, a year after suju. She debut under sm. That is why she was good with 2nd generation during the show.

Newer fans don’t even know how happy this makes us who’s been into kpop since the 2nd Gen! 2AM’s “This Song” to me to this day is one of the most lyrically beautiful kpop ballad’s out there. “Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die” will also always hit different!! So happy to see 2Am again!
I love seeing 2nd Gen Groups be free and genuinely having a good time. It seems like artists were more subdued back in the day due to keeping up their image. I would love to see more Ending Fairy poses in the future. They always make me laugh. 😂👍 Thanks for having them on the show!
I wouldn't really agree about 2gen holding back before. I can't see how shows like Wild bunny could be possible today for example. Now with popularization of K-pop idols are even under more scrutiny
Not gonna say they holding back a lot in the past, they still hold back bcs image control. But if we compare on today idols with idol in 2nd generation, there's a lot more things that 2nd idol can do back in their era when they bevpme guest in variety show than today idols
I feel like they have more freedom and express themselves more compared to idols today. KNetz and international fans are more cruel & sensitive today especially with more social media platforms and proliferation of fake news. Today, every move of idols is magnified.
I think all my favorite episodes were the ones with 2nd gen idols. Because she technically falls into the category, it’s fun to see how well she relates to everyone. I wonder when she’ll have jay park or 2PM on. That would be fun, but honestly, this episode, key’s episode and Minho’s episode are my top 3 and honorable mention to the highlight episode because the start of that was a fun chaotic mess.
Let me emphasize this: Korean ballads are among the best. To see 2AM being able to make their comeback, I hope all IAM will keep on supporting them. I'm looking forward to their soothing, breathtaking songs soon. Let's go, 2AM!
This is just so refreshing to watch of them all together in one frame . Last time I watched them was Jo Kwon, Seulong and other 2pm members. Even after all their peer competitors form their own company like 2pm and Wonder Girls were so big during that time, they still manage to top the charts with consecutive wins as a ballad idol group. So proud to where they have come now!
Nothing rivals the chaos that is 2nd Gen Idols, all of them and I mean ALL of them are extremely noisy. You won't see no hosts' that can contain them. Even Jessi is considered 2nd Gen and Yoo Jaesuk can't contain her energy.
they were already chaotic even before they started the interview lmao. as someone who becoming a kpop fan since 2nd gen (specifically around the end of 2007) you don't know how happy i am seeing more 2nd gen idols back to the industry. i have literal tears rn. hope to see more of 2nd gen stars here. not to mention this gen had avid and immaculate variety skills.
The Korean K-pop world needs to respect second generation idols because they are still going hard today. I don’t think people understand how hard it is to be an idol or a K-Pop artist when you are in your late 20s or 30s
I really love this kind of atmosphere that 2nd Generation Groups have... The fact that 2AM has been preparing their comeback way back since they were released of their military services made my flattered... Also, I love how comfortable they are with Jessi because of the reason that they are the same range of age with her and the time that they debuted in the 2dn Generation of Idols...

I love watching 2nd gen idols appear on shows because they were the generation that had the best variety skills. Also the ones who were able to be casually funny. A lot of the newer idols are too shy or tense. It just hits different with the "old school" idols. The vibes are amazing.
2AM humour is on another level then they start singing everything just turn so calm and incredibly beautiful. their voices r so soothing and very hypnotizing tbh. gah! i miss them!

The comeback of 2nd gen idols might not be as big or hype as the recent idols ones, but for certain fans, the opportunity to see the idols from their youth together again is too precious ☺️
Jinwoo as a maknea lol totally forgot about this 2AM, Shinee, Highlight....What an amazing episodes. We need more 2nd gen coming to this show. No one can beat 2nd ger. No one. Prove me wrong. They've been around for like 10 and more years they basically have no filter and Jessi also helps to bring out best and real them. Loving this and hoping to see more of 2ng gen artists here.

I personally couldn't tell their names immediately by looking at their faces cos I only have listened to their songs, but each of these singers are quite well-known for their songs in Korea :D The duo debuted in 2002 and Yoon Minsoo especially is more recognized as he debuted as a member of a respected vocal group, Four Men, earlier in 1998.

Yeah me too. Actually i don't really know about 2am before. I just know they're from like 2 company (jyp and bighit) and they're more to ballad. The member i only know are jokwon and seul ong and the only song i know is this song. But after watching their show with IU and jessi, i feel like i already know them for a long time. I also like their latest song. Sorry i wrote it too long. Hehehe.
When 2nd gen idol comes back and interviews with Jessi, it's like clashing effect. I expect it to be so proper and no swearing and jessi's just throwing everything to the wind and they follow along and its just relaxing and refreshing!!!

One of the things that is special about 2nd generation idols is that they weren't that many then compared to next gen. There are more interactions between artists. There is also a friendly competition between active artists. I would pay a million bucks if a show is able to gather all 2nd generation idols. That will be chaos.

I began stanning kpop during the 3rd gen but i kid u not 2nd gen looked so fun, peaceful, and most especially, ICONIC. So many legendary groups debuted that time. I wish i knew kpop earlier HAHAH
@@miriii_6066 i started during 2nd gen. It’s fun. They have different concepts from each other which is interesting. I’m more eager to learn other groups compared to today. I would say majority of the groups are really hilarious as well. There are more interactions in variety shows. I wouldn’t say it’s peaceful between fandoms though! It’s just different methods of fighting at present :))

@@gumworms5199 Same here! I became a kpop fan during the 2nd gen and I got to say I miss the idols and their interactions back then. Of course the current idols are talented and working hard but kpop used to be alot more fun back during the 2nd gen. Idols of the opposite gender pulled pranks on each other, hung out together and even appeared very friendly and close during broadcasts as well. There were scandals here and there but it wasn't as bad as it is now. I really want to see SHINee, SNSD, SuJu, Highlight, 2PM, 2PM and any other 2nd gen idols get together!! It would bring a whole new definition to the word chaos🤣😂

Newer fans don’t even know how happy this makes us who’s been into kpop since the 2nd Gen! 2AM’s “This Song” to me to this day is one of the most lyrically beautiful kpop ballad’s out there. “Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die” will also always hit different!! So happy to see 2Am again!

I love seeing 2nd Gen Groups be free and genuinely having a good time. It seems like artists were more subdued back in the day due to keeping up their image. I would love to see more Ending Fairy poses in the future. They always make me laugh. 😂👍 Thanks for having them on the show!
I wouldn't really agree about 2gen holding back before. I can't see how shows like Wild bunny could be possible today for example. Now with popularization of K-pop idols are even under more scrutiny
Not gonna say they holding back a lot in the past, they still hold back bcs image control. But if we compare on today idols with idol in 2nd generation, there's a lot more things that 2nd idol can do back in their era when they bevpme guest in variety show than today idols
I feel like they have more freedom and express themselves more compared to idols today. KNetz and international fans are more cruel & sensitive today especially with more social media platforms and proliferation of fake news. Today, every move of idols is magnified.

I think all my favorite episodes were the ones with 2nd gen idols. Because she technically falls into the category, it’s fun to see how well she relates to everyone. I wonder when she’ll have jay park or 2PM on. That would be fun, but honestly, this episode, key’s episode and Minho’s episode are my top 3 and honorable mention to the highlight episode because the start of that was a fun chaotic mess.
Let me emphasize this: Korean ballads are among the best. To see 2AM being able to make their comeback, I hope all IAM will keep on supporting them. I'm looking forward to their soothing, breathtaking songs soon. Let's go, 2AM!
This is just so refreshing to watch of them all together in one frame . Last time I watched them was Jo Kwon, Seulong and other 2pm members. Even after all their peer competitors form their own company like 2pm and Wonder Girls were so big during that time, they still manage to top the charts with consecutive wins as a ballad idol group. So proud to where they have come now!
Nothing rivals the chaos that is 2nd Gen Idols, all of them and I mean ALL of them are extremely noisy. You won't see no hosts' that can contain them. Even Jessi is considered 2nd Gen and Yoo Jaesuk can't contain her energy.

I love watching 2nd gen idols appear on shows because they were the generation that had the best variety skills. Also the ones who were able to be casually funny. A lot of the newer idols are too shy or tense. It just hits different with the "old school" idols. The vibes are amazing.

I personally couldn't tell their names immediately by looking at their faces cos I only have listened to their songs, but each of these singers are quite well-known for their songs in Korea :D The duo debuted in 2002 and Yoon Minsoo especially is more recognized as he debuted as a member of a respected vocal group, Four Men, earlier in 1998.

Yeah me too. Actually i don't really know about 2am before. I just know they're from like 2 company (jyp and bighit) and they're more to ballad. The member i only know are jokwon and seul ong and the only song i know is this song. But after watching their show with IU and jessi, i feel like i already know them for a long time. I also like their latest song. Sorry i wrote it too long. Hehehe.
When 2nd gen idol comes back and interviews with Jessi, it's like clashing effect. I expect it to be so proper and no swearing and jessi's just throwing everything to the wind and they follow along and its just relaxing and refreshing!!!

I love the 2nd Gen K-pop groups, seeing them now you can really see how they've grown and matured over time! I like the atmosphere, more relaxed, less complicated, fun and chaotic and literally nobody gives a shit about any judgements or criticism. I love their era! It seemed more honest than now
