A Sacramento woman is trying to figure out why dozens of portable heaters are being sent to her home. None of which she ever ordered.
Donate them don’t throw them away for god sakes

They are literally junk and do not work like advertised. Not strong enough to warm even a small bathroom! Plus they fall out of the plug easily and are a fire hazard! Theirs nothing to secure them to the plug.
Look online and you’ll see those heaters are a scam!
Their are different Chinese sellers selling them under many different brand names! All the same exact miniature room heater.
Giving these away to something and making them think one of these will be helpful is a horrible thing to do.
It’s a big scam! That’s why they are all returns!
Theirs websites stating these are the best heaters of 2022! Tons of people are being scammed by these on a daily basis actually.

They are Chinese Heaters probably sent to a prep center in the United States then if they are returned they sure aren't headed back to China so Seller probably just picked a random address as the return address overstock or defective.
I had this happen to me. But it seems someone had got my name and field for unemployment during COVID and was taking over my Amazon account I tried to figure it out but it lead nowhere. I have up and had to put Amazon account on suspicious activity and permanent pause. Don't know how to handle it.
This could be an overseas factory using her address to avoid duty fees. They send her the returns to establish us residency. They gave her a job. Now all she can do is inspect the returns and resell them for less. The coldest part is she has to pay for disposal of faulty units.
Give them to the unfortunate! Don't trash them!

This happened to me a few years ago. It finally stopped but amazon wouldn't tell me who sent them. They all came in my wifes name but she doesn't have an amazon account in her name we use it in mine. I received dozens of packages.
You are journalists and you didn't think to look up the customers and ask them what website they bought the heater fans from???
I feel like Amazon will get a hold of her as soon as you send them this link.
Well, even if they do, she can legally keep them and do with them as she pleases.
She needs to find listings on Amazon. Contact every listing customer service. Hopefully she can flag the product and complain. There's a trail you leave with every listing you post.
