Taipei MRT company forbidden people eating at the station to keep station clean, not for cultural things. (We can eat at train station.) And that’s why Taipei MRT station is clean over 20 years.
Come visit Taiwan! Currently we've started to let tourists in again while still maintaining proper social distancing and requiring face masks when being inside the MRT station. Plus you can get boba tea easily everywhere for $1.50 usd :)

Hello. The machine is great. but I will give you a tips, when you finish using any machine, you should bring wet towels and clean your hands because since you touched the machine it has a lot of bacteria and when you touch the food, it carries all the bacteria and you could get sick
u would have to get up and get out and walk to get to the machine... America just has things delivered. so it would be better for u with a vending machine option

It’s been a while since I’ve been back to Taipei and it’s stations. But WOW. I’ll honestly never forget the distinct noise and sounds of the station. Also interestingly enough, I do recall using that machine. Wasn’t really much to expect. It literally does what it’s meant to do.
