Skip the drier nozzle, just use the soft brush first to gently blow dry your hair from a short distance and also brush it - saves time and effort. Then, when hair is good enough for making curls, use the curling wand nozzles. Totally skip the round brush, it’s better for volumizing short hair, not good for long hair, specially for those that are on the thinner side - makes them messy. @@lenamohrzadeh yes, curler nozzles are constructed in such way that they automatically wrap a strand of hair around, you just have to move AirWrap up to your scalp without any rotation. It helps a lot. I think it uses some sort of aerodynamic action to wrap hair around the curlers and it makes it very gently - there is almost no chance for hair to be stuck and pulled.
I second this method works for my curly hair that is twice the thickness of the creator in around 20min (it takes me 45-50 with regular dryers). I also use the round brush but for a blow dry look with no issues.
I would never buy the wrap, but the dryer works great. It’s the only dryer that has lasted me over 5 years while also being the only one that can dry my hair on the lowest heat setting. Instead of 45 mins to dry my hair with the previous hair dryers I’ve tried such as literally every version of Chi that’s been made, Ga.Ma, Bio Ionic, Rusk, GHD, Babyliss Pro, T3, Instyler, Conair, Revlon, and John Frieda, the dyson works the fastest and gets my hair dry without drying it out to a crisp. If I MUST use the highest heat setting if I’m in a rush, it still won’t burn my hair. I love it. I’ve found that it’s paid itself off since it’s lasted me so long. Instead of buying a $120-$220 dryer every 1-2 years, my $430 dyson is still going all these years later. Honestly if it requires so much work, it isn't worth $500. Just buy a regular curling wand and flat iron, use a good heat protectant and hydrating/protein hair mask depending on whether your hair is dry or damaged.
You are supposed to just use whatever attachment you want when wet and boom you get curls, straight, blowout, etc. You don’t have to do all of these extra steps.
It’s not too much work at all. This hair tool is amazing. It drys , straightens and curls your hair. Normally it takes me about an hour or so the blow dry and straighten my hair with normal tools. With the air wrap it makes drying my hair so so so much quicker with the brush attachments than using a blow dryer and it also makes me hair straight so now all I need to do is use my hair straighteners on the end of my hair to shape it. The air wrap is not a lot of work at all you can change the brush head in seconds. It’s also so so so much better for my hair because I never use it on the high setting and it does the job. Sometimes I even use it on cool on my dry hair and it smooths it out. I would deffo recommend it ! Buy it second hand to save money that’s what I did
Ppl don't get that each step is fast and it's ALL ONE device, vs a blow dryer and separate brushes. For the people it works for, we f*ing love it. Not the price, but nothing does what it does. The brush heads are dynamic and prevent flyaway etc.
Honestly it's been a game changer for me. I have long, thick, wavy hair that I can finally style without drying the hell out of it. And Dyson makes it soo smooth. I'm happy to always recommend it bc it helped not only my hair's appearance but also health. The price is high but before I tried the popular Revlon brush and dried my ends with long-term use (w hair protectant). Airwrap also turns out to be cheaper long term compared to salon etc
Your hairs curly I’m sure that’s why it does that for you, I’ve seen Asian women in their morning routine/family vlogs use this after washing and it was quick and done
I don't want to have to go through 3 different attachments to make my hair look good. It's so expensive, it should work with just 1 attachment after drying it!!
Ok so keep paying for a professional blowout then and risk damaging your hair with cheap tools. This life is about choices. Skincare and hair care as a woman are the most important things that require time money and effort to sustain the health of.
@@guidingwindscoaching Personal choices. It's not mandatory. I don't get professional blowouts. Most of the time I let my hair air dry and style it when I go out. Busy FT working mom of two, taking care of home, dogs, etc etc...I also did get the airwrap several years ago and it stopped working!!!!
I've seen so many of these where it starts with, I was about to throw my Dyson air wrap away or I stopped using my Dyson air wrap, but... I've never even used a Dyson air wrap. It's weird that they seem to use similar wording. Maybe it's like the foundation controversy on TikTok and they're all secretly getting paid.
I will say I’m not an influencer or TikToker, however it’s true, at first I wanted to return mine bc I didn’t know what was doing. I kept working with it and figured it out and I do love it. However with that said, is it worth 500 dollars? I don’t think so. I mean I can blow dry, straighten, curl, diffuse, and blowout all with one tool which is cool, but the difficulty at first is intimidating for sure.
I have one and I love it. I don’t know but I use it without any techniques and my hair looks gorgeous since I own that thing. Styling takes me 5-10 minutes only. But my hair is thin and lightly wavy. People with thicker hair don’t need tools like that to let their hair look incredible 😅
Is the curler wand (or any head) automatic rotary curlers by chance? ( ones that you do not have to physically wrap a strand of hair around and roll up to the crown of your head manually)🌹
I have it and it’s not worth it. Still hella heat and takes 3x longer to do your hair than with a normal curling iron AND they don’t stay as long as with a normal $20 curling iron so tf is the point man
You didn’t do this product any justice. It’s actually so simple and easy to use. The box also has pictures inside to tell you what tool does what but it’s mostly common sense what heads to use. This tool drys , straightens & curls your hair all in one. It does it in half the time for me & requires less heat which is better for your hair. You can also use it on the cool setting.
Could you please explain the steps on the good side? The video goes a bit too fast for me. I have really similar hair texture to yours so am excited to try these tips 🥰
1. Silk hair wrap until hair is damp 2. Heat protectant 3. Hair mousse 4. Dry tilting downwards 5. Section hair and use the smoothing brush, then round brush then curling attachment with coolshock button to set the curls
Y’all people are just lazy. Put in the effort and you won’t have to complain about your appearance. You wanna roll out of bed 5 minutes before you have to be somewhere? Cool. But when you see a hot girl with perfect hair and makeup, she puts the time in.
ye, easy to put the time in when this is what you do for a living. imagine working 2 jobs and then tell me you have time for all this every time you wash your hair. what an ignorant comment.
y’all the point is to have one device that does everything. imagine spending $100 on 6 different things instead of $600 on 1 thing. it’s the same difference. everything you use has a learning curve. after awhile this process probably doesn’t take long to do quickly.
You really don’t need to do alllat to make it stay. I have super fine short straight hair. Use a mouse, roughy dry, use the curling attachment, set in rollers or pin curls and sprays. That lasts great for me
This work to make something look good when you could get the same "good side" by just putting in a little effort with regular a hair straightener that costs less than a 10th of the price..? 🤣🤣
🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ it’s obviously that you’re were using it wrong 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ The thing to dry, you don’t have to put your hair inside… it’s dangerous 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
It does not work on textured and frizzy hair that is just the truth. The air coming from the inside just kind of shoots all your baby hair up so you either can get it smooth but with zero volume on top or voluminous butfrizzy. NOT worth the 600 dollars at all...
Yeah i got it for my birthday, and the main thing i wanted was tight curls, which i didnt realise at the time that the air wrap was mostly for volume and loose curls. So yeah was returned😅
Yeah, definitely not for tight curls! The volume it delivers is unmatched. A godsend for those of us with fine hair that needs shaping and bounce to look nice, but not curlicues and coils.
Who is getting people $600 Christmas presents. I'm over here like, " Sorry fam it's going to be the important characters only this year." Inflation got me giving my presence as the presents.
These comments are so weird lmao. Just because you spent a lot of money doesn’t mean you don’t have to know how to use the machine to use it effectively. Thats like if you bought a 3000$ computer but didn’t even know how to use a mouse and then said it’s crap. Just because you’re not capable of using it to it’s full potential doesn’t mean it’s bad lmao
Best beauty purchase I’ve ever made. I use a thickener, anti frizz, mouse, and gloss products, I have the routine down to 30 minutes total, from out of the shower, to fully curled and dry, red carpet worthy hair. If you’re not someone who’s into a beauty routine, it might not be for you. For me, it’s worth every penny, especially because it does not damage your hair with heat. I view it as an investment. If you’re just looking for easy, and love the blow out look, def pass on the airwrap and get the supersonic hair dryer from Dyson if you’ve got money to spend!
Y’all it’s expensive because of all the attachments. If you were to buy a straightener, a curler, a dryer, a frizz defused, etc all separately, it would cost around 600-700 pounds and also take up way more room in your house. If you don’t need all the attachments I would recommend buying separately, however you might aswell buy the Dyson if you need all of them anyway😊
Is the curler part an automatic rotary or do you physically have to roll your wand up to the crown of your head (with the strand of hair your curling obviously) I’m getting mixed reviews on this !
Ounce you get the hang of it you can have a fresh blowout in 25 minutes, yes it’s very expensive but it only takes a little to get use too then your set.
@@happydayzee after I’m out of the shower I normally do skincare and all that and my hair is wrapped in a towel for about 20 minutes, then I start the Dyson process: 10 minutes to blow dry my whole head, normally 10 minutes is perfect bc it’s dry but not 100% dry. Then it takes me about 15ish minutes to use the round brush on my whole head and then I’m done!

Honestly if it requires so much work, it isn't worth $500. Just buy a regular curling wand and flat iron, use a good heat protectant and hydrating/protein hair mask depending on whether your hair is dry or damaged.
honestly if you blowdry your hair using 3 (?) different attachments no one can tell me that that's supposed to keep your hair healthy
Technically you don’t even need the curling wand, you can curl with a flat iron.
You are supposed to just use whatever attachment you want when wet and boom you get curls, straight, blowout, etc. You don’t have to do all of these extra steps.
@@luna1r it’s a LOT healthier lmao
Thank you. Contemplating buying it.
@@Alex-dj9qjwill it work for silky hair?
If I have to read a whole book and take a class to use a hair dryer or to cool my hair I don't want it
An hour?? My $60 Revlon One Step could never lol twenty five minutes max on the one step and I have thick curly hair.
I use that too and with layers, it takes 15 mins. I have thick 3c hair
Shoulder length though
i think shes saying thats how it looks like after an hour of it being done
I love my revlon too, my hair is really long and only takes me no more than 20 minutes 👍🏻
I was obsessed with my Revlon one step until i had to cut off one foot of dead hair after a year of once per week use. I’m a dyson girl now 😅
Your hairs curly I’m sure that’s why it does that for you, I’ve seen Asian women in their morning routine/family vlogs use this after washing and it was quick and done
Yes. She has curly hair. My hair is just like hers except I keep mine curly.
that is NOT curly hair. 😂
@@hellaSwankkyToo yes it is. Just because it’s not a defined/tight curl pattern doesn’t mean it’s not curly😊
Yes I feel like it would be less complicated if she defined her curls
When her bad hair is my good hair-
My best hair isn't even as good as her "bad" side 💀
Same bruh💀
So you're spending 600$ for what? You can do that with any brush and normal curler c'mon!
I used crap like this when had loooooong hair and mime was a cheap €20 one. Got the same result.
What was the name or brand for that dupe? Because I currently do not believe that the Dyson is worth the money. Was your €20 one sold on Amazon?
@@Lily_faith227 theres a great 40€ one (its on sale and usually costs 60) on amazon!! The revlon salon one step
I don't want to have to go through 3 different attachments to make my hair look good. It's so expensive, it should work with just 1 attachment after drying it!!
It work just with one if ur hair is already straight and ready to curl!
More than likely.
I love mine too.
@@lenamohrzadeh The Airwrap literally wraps ur hair around the curler automatically.
@@lenamohrzadehit kind of sucks it in and wraps it around the wand.
“Technique makes all the difference”
And the mousse you used on one side does too
Thank God I received my Dyson air wrap as a gift. The curling barrel is awesome! Best hairstyle tool and not damaging like a curling iron.
Takes an hour at that price no thanks
She was showing how her curls looked an hour later not that it took her an hour
It doesn’t take an hour lol
I have dyson airwrap; and it only takes me 15-20 minutes to go from wet hair to bouncy curls.....🤷🏻♀️
Could you please explain the steps on the good side? The video goes a bit too fast for me. I have really similar hair texture to yours so am excited to try these tips 🥰
way too fast, so that it becomes annoying to listen too unfortunately
1. Silk hair wrap until hair is damp
2. Heat protectant
3. Hair mousse
4. Dry tilting downwards
5. Section hair and use the smoothing brush, then round brush then curling attachment with coolshock button to set the curls
Am I the only one who thinks she looks like Lana Rhoades?
These girls aren’t thinking long term and it shows.
Not me telling my mom i want a dyson airwrap and said no its too expensive and she got herself a fucking dyson v11 for literally 800$ 🥴🥴
🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ it’s obviously that you’re were using it wrong 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
The thing to dry, you don’t have to put your hair inside… it’s dangerous 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
textured hair???? what does that even mean in this context?
lord hammercy folks just be saying anything they hear. 😂
1) this sounds like you're trying to convince someone that it's actually worth all that money
2) you are like criminally pretty wtf
An hour? I can do it faster with a blow dryer and curling iron.
she means after an hour of finishing
your natural hair is so prettu
Agreed. Why waste $600 you could save towards something important, when you already have great curly/wavy hair??
Your natural waves look so nice! They give me beachy mermaid vibes :D do you ever experiment with your natural hair?
Life is too short mate 🙄
You’re using the dryer part incorrectly. You don’t put hair through the hole! 🙄
you actually can! It's a little hack a Dyson rep taught me
Is the curler part an automatic rotary or do you physically have to roll your wand up to the crown of your head (with the strand of hair your curling obviously) I’m getting mixed reviews on this !
She’s also made another video about how her hot curlers are better so why would I buy the $600 dyson 🙃
Pretty sure it's the mousse that made all the difference lol
Ounce you get the hang of it you can have a fresh blowout in 25 minutes, yes it’s very expensive but it only takes a little to get use too then your set.
@@happydayzee after I’m out of the shower I normally do skincare and all that and my hair is wrapped in a towel for about 20 minutes, then I start the Dyson process:
10 minutes to blow dry my whole head, normally 10 minutes is perfect bc it’s dry but not 100% dry. Then it takes me about 15ish minutes to use the round brush on my whole head and then I’m done!
