- Qin Shi Huang, the formidable first emperor of the Qin dynasty, who reigned from 221 to 210 BCE left behind a well guarded tomb inside a masoleum.Cracking open the tomb could unleash immediate dangers, as ancient accounts reveal. The tomb is equipped with deadly traps, mechanisms designed to defend against any intruder.
Tombs like this and Pyramids are illustrations of just how insane power drives humans
Extraterrestrials had influence as well .
@@raycatlin3554 convenient explanation to prove how stupid human beings we're back then so that we think we're so smart today we're in fact it is totally the opposite
Power?? I Could Care Less!!
you are right to a degree. the pyramid was used for power but not personal power. energetic power
You nailed it!
But the real story is twofold.
The amazing ability God gave to man.
And the power God has to shut it down when it gets out of control.
Like He did with Egypt, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome.
They all go from ruling the world to ruins that people take selfie’s in front of.
It would be great if they could send cameras down there.
they easily could.
The Chinese afraid of the curse of the dead, this is another reason why
The mastery of the craftsmanship must be unequalled ANYWHERE even though there are many excellent items created and then crafted in many parts of the world where ancient civilizations existed. Such a shame that "instructions, teachers, materials and where to find them" aren't possible. I wonder, too, if there's anyone on this globe today who would have the interest, the patience, the fine motor skills and the PERSONAL HIGH STANDARDS to learn any ancient skill and then possibly attempt to create a work using the same methods, style, creativity and commitment. Unequalled. Unparalleled. And how wonderful that these finds exist. Thank you to those who understand that all of these beautiful ( I call) works of pure art are valuable, document-able and preservable. Thank you to those who understand the IMPORTANCE of keeping these objects/items safe.
Worrying about destroying valuable information is an oxymoron. It's not valuable information if you can't access it.
they can insert a robot from airlocks, scan the tomb and do 3D walkthroughs without opening to outside elements
When I visited, one of the senior archaeologists told me that they still had another 100yrs work to do on the current excavations with the terra cotta figures....
We can send robots to mars but we we don’t have the technology or techniques to safely send a robot and a camera into the tomb 🤷♂️

I'm not into conspiracy theories but those Mars scenes look very much like the Australian Central desert .an hour from where I live you can find scenery exactly the same red dust everywhere

Well, you should keep your fingers away - what would your family feel if the ancient chinese opened your grave and put your sorry remains behind glass in a museum?
But they open up everyone elses tombs
Probably scared of the mercury
Just reading The Emperors Tomb by Steve Berry. Very interesting, especially the parts about the quest for Oil!
Hope you enjoy it!
Emperor chin fascinated me. The fact that he conquered in United China was a huge accomplishment. But the truth to this man was. He was a savage to those lands that he took over. Because unfortunately, the royals were forced to work the wall and were actually buried in it as the Marvel of The Great Wall that we can see from space. It's nothing more than a cemetery. The fact of his tomb is astonishing a true Marvel. Something birthtaking and amazing words couldn't describe of what's his tomb? Looks like they should send a drone in. We have little flying drones. We have drones that look like bugs. We could drill a hole and put a drone through and have an outlook without disturbing anything or breaking anything. But the history and artifacts that are in. There is so much history for china that still is unknown
Emperor Qin or Emperor Qin Shi Huang, not Emperor Chin.
I big reason is that the CCP will not allow that tomb to be opened. Given that we do not have the technical know how to guarantee that the site would be protected….until that technology does exist, this site will remain undisturbed.
Just fkn get in. What are the secrets of the ancients.
@user-bn3ut9jv7e They've already gone in and taken the gold and other precious jewellery. I call bs that they haven't gained access inside
Lack of technology? lol what planet do you live on?
@knucklehead9267 You seriously have no idea, do you? The world governments technology vs. what we are given is leagues apart.
@@user-bn3ut9jv7e you obviously have the idea 🤡🤣
Screw it I'm going full on area 51 mode for that tomb
The first emperor's tomb is said to have mercury river in it, and the soil around the tomb does have higher mercury concentration. That's probably why it has not been excavated.
Why not develop robots connected to 6G to view the interior of the Tomb?
Maybe some ground penetrating radar or something to see whats there with minimal disturbance to the tomb itself?
Or they have been looting the tomb for 50 years.
Wow just realized that probably all those statues and everything were painted everything had color that’s way even cooler
That means the farmers land was just confiscated and turned into a museum as it was Mao's era
It's the same thing the US government did to the Native Americans
In China, all the land belongs to the government, they just allow you to make use of it.
So the land should become protected due to the tomb being of immense historical importance but farmer should be paid for the land.
Once the government requisitions the land that’s it regardless of who owns the land! 🥹😢
It’s a communist country so they probably didn’t own it to begin with.
Drones?
Where's Indiana Jones when you need him. He'll crack it open and find all the treasure 😂
never heard Indiana Jones saying " Oh, there's mercury in here. Time to go back.."
Indiana Jones the emperor's tomb
more like Lara Croft 🙂
Indiana Jones will be saying, “I’m getting too old for this.”
How about Rick O'Connell?
"Here we go again!"
If there was rivers of mercury then deadly to open. Xx
That makes it more interesting.
True, yet we've harvested mercury previously in history.
Is it taken that these soldiers and the tomb were buried by a great flood or the sand deposits from something similar. Or was the tomb intentionally buried after the emperor’s death. Or is that unknown. No doubt said farmers lost there land during this honest act of calling officials.
The first emperor is also the first vampire....he still walks amongst us. Thats the story anyway.
What about his army? Those statues were ARMED. I suspect that, has he need for them, they can fight effectively...nobody built that as afterlife flex, or for decoration. There are a couple vampires. My intuition says 5. I think Vlad Putin, Belenof...emperor Qin...sounds right to my intuition. These sad beings, afraid to go to hell, busy creating it! Even after all the time and the misdeeds...heaven waits for us all.
he ordered the wall no and it has defensive elements on both sides try again my friend ps stalling till all go missing
They actually thought poison gas was part of the trap?
I thought I read in the news they are opening it
Mercury !! River in the tomb
They DO have the technology! I watched a show on them scanning Petra. They scanned the pyramids too. I forget what it’s called. LiDAR I think. Doubtful they’ll get permission tho 🤔🙏🏻
So why show a classical ruin from the Roman period?
western and eastern societies think differently you must respect their customs, Europeans don't look at kings and queens as Icons the way that Chinese look at their monarchs read up on the rites of Zhao and the mandate of heaven then you will understand. Huangdi was the very first emperor and he is considered sacred. WE dont look at the romans that way
Brendan fraser was already there.
Nice hats they had.
2:55 That doesn't look like China, I'm confused.
Thank God, the western imperialists didn’t get the opportunity to plunder China’s great archaeological treasures unlike the pyramids of Egypt.
I’m sadden how his mind was poisoned with mercury when it was mistaken for the “ Elixir of Immortality.” Long live the Song Emperor.🙏
Haha don’t drink the shiny stuff not hard
Waiting for price rise in mercury no doubt
Crack it open!
Because the scientist are afraid that archaeologists might get angry😂
They do not want to make the same mistake in the mummy movies.
Sent to another dimension
Bro imagine somebody making you build all that against your will😂😂😂😂
i love how he clearly says that opening the tomb will expose it to air, leading to oxidation. Then the litany of genius fucks in this thread constantly type "send a camera or a robot" like those aren't mechanical, and as if those wouldn't require opening the door.
That isn't the only reason they won't open the tomb. The Chinese still believe in their ancestors having a huge influence on life now. They won't open it because they are afraid of the ancestors coming to get them.
this is a huge part of their culture
@@michellerenee92580 what are you talking about.. most Chinese academics are atheist.. they don't believe in that garbage.. they have open up thousands of a more recent tomb of less than a thousand year.. do you people really think the Chinese are a bunch of monkey.. you need a passport girl and go to China.. if you think you are so superior than them.. they are 5000 year old civilisation of which you are not part off..
@@michellerenee92580 they are atheist communists, this should not be part of their culture
I'm in China,a Chinese. I'm sure it's not what you said. We won't open the tomb because we want to protect it,keep what it is or was. At the same time, there's no reason to open it,so we keep what it is or was. Nobody is afraid of them coming to get us😂
The high levels of mercury but also a respect for the dead custom i love your culture your language and history@@whyhowwhat7766
Because it's filled with MERCURY!
Unopened…? Allegedly….
Qin Shi Huang’s tomb was never opened in years.
never will be because of the high levels of mercury in the soil supposedly he made a lake of mercury around his tomb
@@michellerenee92580 Ridiculous. Hazmat suits can withstand every known contagion, and that includes mercury. They're just being superstitious.
@@michellerenee92580 so what? heard of hazmat suits and gas masks?
@@Sarlyx its not just the mercury in reality its the reverence for Qin Shi Huang The first emperor of a unified China he was Huang di they practice ancestor worship so because of the disrespect it would be his tomb will probably never be open but I don't even think hazmat's would help the lake of mercury guarding it
@@michellerenee92580 wtf are you talking about
Not much doubt about how he died then…..mercury poisoning.

I’m sure some body has been in there by now....to say today we won’t look is silly
I'm confused the raided tombs in Africa took the Cherished crown jewels. Why are they afraid to go in there🤔
I don’t believe for 1 second they haven’t opened and looted that tomb🤷🏼♀️
Me neither
That's so obvious
Theres no way those corrupt buttholes ain't scraped it for more than it's worth .
It isn't going anywhere.

It’s a good thing that the Warriors were found in 1974 at the end of Mao’s reign. It they had been discovered during the hay days of the CCP’s Cultural Revolution, they Warriors would have all undoubtedly been smashed and all traces of them destroyed. Funny now how the CCP portrays itself as the guardian and protector of Chinese culture. This role would more appropriately be taken by the Taiwanese government and people who never rejected their Chinese cultural heritage.
they are real humans who were stones by alien technology.
I wish the narrator would pronounce Qin Shihuang correctly.
The reason his because it's empty simply as that
"Scientists" wouldnt be scared. Religious persons might be.
Not clay Real guys .
I have so much respect for Chinese Archaeologists because of their philosophy of waiting to open Qin’s pyramid. They are correct, there is much to learn about opening tombs and preserving the contents

ok, so are we all going to ignore the monolith on the emporors headress at 101?
That’s not even close to a monolith shape. Monoliths are typically 3D shape but the ceremonial headdress is a flat rectangular lacquered wooden board with strands of jade beads, it’s more 2D shaped (Google mian guan for more info). It represents divine/high-ranking authority.
Pancake on bunny head 🤔😀
@@wctoronto yeah, thats what the monolith represents, so whats it doing on his head.
Well that didn't work out for the ole emperor now then did it!
So the actual question could have been solved in a couple of minutes but no they had to make the video go much longer why not just say this is a video about the terracotta soldiers not just about the question
