Various woodworking connection methods that are surprisingly not easy

This video shows how to connect a wooden bar without steps and gaps. A long neck bar connection cannot be used with clamps, so a strong adhesion is not possible, making perfect work impossible. I made a video on how to overcome these difficulties.

For glue joints that are prone to slippage, I use two methods taught to me by a custom furniture maker.
1. Brush on a thinned glue solution (50/50 water and glue) and let dry, Then brush on full strength glue for the join.
2. Add a little sand (10 grains is all you need per sq in) on one bonding surface before clamping. This mechanically prevents the joint from slipping when clamped.
This is an example of a scarph or scarf joint. Normally you'd use a 15-30 degree angle, but that isn't safe to do on a miter saw unless you have a jig to hold the wood at the proper angle. A 15-30 degree angle has a great deal of glue surface for a very strong joint and is commonly use for table or chair leg repair.

On a cylindrical object like that, I would cut a long flat portion (say 10 inches, depending on finished length), on both pieces by removing 1/2 of the material, lengthwise, and then do a glue up, etc. Your surface area of the joint would be 5x to 10x larger, and the mechanics of the joint (regardless of surface area) would be tremendously stronger as well.

Double ended dowel screw with glue, maybe. You would still have a problem getting an exact center for both screw ends but you could make a jig.

я бы сделал нечто вроде "ласточкиного хвоста" с выпуском 20 см.и дополнительно использовал бы несколько дюбелей.или как показано во втором варианте ,но центральный дюбель должен быть значительно длиннее.но с отцентровкой действительно будут сложности.требуется точная оснастка.

А почему нельзя "ласточкин хвост" или другие красивые, как у H Carpenter? И даже просто, одну на клин (симметричный) а другую, ответную, "обратный" клин.
Площадь склеивания заметно больше и про стягивании не уведёт.
