No that was a great take. Having 5 Assist doesn’t mean he’s a good ball mover. You can be a great passer and not be a great ball mover. Ball moving means the ball doesn’t stick with you. That means you make quick decisions, not hold the ball 8-12 seconds to score. That was spot on. That part of the game he will grow with after he learns what works for him consistently. He’s still super young
I wouldn't say the Magic suck at moving the ball around. I would say they sucked last year at shooting. And when you suck at shooting, the result is closed off driving lanes and inability to put defenders in rotation, which can result in stagnant offense. That hasn't been the case this year. We'll see if they can keep it up, but it might be time to revise that narrative. So far, they've been awesome offensively. They're taking and making a high volume of threes, and they're doing it with KCP not being able to make a shot. I think it'll fall off some, but hopefully it's the product of internal improvement and not simply early season noise.
I feel like All NBA and Hoops Tonight are really similar, w/ Hoops Tonight leaning heavier into the technicality and All NBA being a short step back on that front but w/ the added conversational entertainment and leaning more into the personalities of Tim and Adam. Yall are a perfect show to give casual fans a start at connecting w/ the game on a deeper level while also keeping more knowledgeable fans entertained. If a casual wanna be put on they should watch Legs and Adam for a season then dive into Hoops Tonight.
Ben Sheppard always plays hard which I like, but he’s not even close to the talent/player Mathurin is (Sheppard was horrid in ECF vs Celtics. We outplayed them games 1/3/4 but lost all 3 and late game execution/coaching + Sheppard awful vs no Mathurin was a part of that). Mathurin in 14 games last year when Carlisle actually played him 30+ minutes he AVERAGED 23.4 6.9 3.2 54/45/81 +5.7 Pacers 9-5 In 49 career games playing 30+ mins (at 20/21 years old) Mathurin AVERAGING 21.2 PPG 5.4 RBG 2.4 APG 48/38/83 splits 118 Offensive rating (60 TS%) The short leash and mind games Carlisle has with our two highest draft picks since 1989 Mathurin & Jarace Walker truly embarrassing especially compared to others on team he doesn’t hold accountable in the same way. He did the same thing with Tayshaun Prince & Jalen Brunson when he was at Pistons/Mavs. As soon as they got rid of him they played more and took off. PS I agree with your other “guys” Suggs, Daniels, Dunn just don’t think Sheppard is even close to those guys personally. I hope you’re right and I’m wrong.
I’m have been a Magic fan since 1989! I don’t think we are ready to play with the Celtics for a title contender as of yet need to get to the second half of the season to get a better understanding of what this team can really do!
We really need to look into Leglers performance on the second night of a back to back, we may have to load manage more often if there’s a drop off.
🤣
Brilliant. 👍👏
Couldn't ask for a better replacement though. Timpf is my favourite up and coming analyst.
The “Paolo isn’t a ball mover” take was kinda crazy
Yeah Paolo averaged 5 assist last season but it’s an area he still needs to work on
Makes me question if these guys actually watch ball.
Timpf constantly has wild takes.
Yeah, the "Magic don't move the ball" take is so ughh.

I really like Jason Timpf, glad you had him on!
Legler doing his best embiid impression
Magic!!! LFG!!!
Proud of Paolo and the whole squad. They really enjoy playing for each other

36:20-37:13 that is the difference between Marcus Smart and Jrue Holiday

Love the Magic talk
Great job Jason! Good addition to the show
Magic are a totally ignored team with just 2 nationally televised games. So much fun to watch it's a shame.
About time this collab happened

Mathurin would flourish elsewhere
Wasn't gonna click immediately and listen later, but then I saw Jason. 🤩🤩
Came for the Banchero talk, stayed for the AB recognition!
Do you think the Orlando Magic could challenge the Boston Celtics in the East? Can anyone else?
It will be scary for Boston if they will meet Magic in first round
If Boston continues their current trajectory, no one in the East has the personnel, cohesiveness, and coaching to challenge them.
Orlando man for man are the ONLY team that can dismantle the Celtics.. they are built to take them down

@@jordanjaypower5024😂😂😂how bout get out the first round
Go Beantown bombers! ☘️💪🏿🏆Great stuff fellas
Ryan Dunn is so gonna be an Adam my guy
Great show
Was hoping for a breakdown of the Lakers Suns game
damn i missed the live. paolo is on a run man sheeeeeeit. owned the heat too game1
Edwards or Paolo?
Adam just looks at that and he goes..
Of course Timpf finds a way to talk about LeBron when talking about the Magic.😑
Paolo is giving you 28.5 pts, 9.3 rebs and 6 asts per game right now. Show me another guy right now doing these numbers....I'll wait.
Paolo doing it with 48% fg
Domantas Sabonis with
24-11/5.5 with only 67%
Legit double double with amazing fg
@Dizzelsoul3542 Paolo shoots away from the basket more than Sabonis.
@thekennyoliver
Doesn't matter
Players chosed what ever shot they could want
But 67% was way better than 48%
@@Dizzelsoul3542 Sabonis is NOT giving you the same stats as Banchero right now. Nice try.
@thekennyoliver
No brainer
67% was way better than 48%
Facts don't lie
Facts don't care about your feelings !
No props for the 4-0 cavs i guess
It's coming!
The thing is that you guys make a lot of excuses for Denver, but then don’t afford the same level of rope for the rest of the West.
Dunn totally shut down Lebron. Couldn't do anything
Oh no, you put that guy on your show🤮 well it was fun while it lasted. I'll wait for Tim 👋
Lol why you hating on Jason?
I'm sure he's not gonna talk about the Lakers (too much)! 😆😅
9 asts to go with his 50 lol. And he’s averaging 6 apg, but sure
no legs no like 😡
