I do enjoy your hauls - very honest. Really like the camel trousers! We really need to get beyond ‘hating’ parts of ourselves don’t we? I have worked hard to stop ‘hating’ myself by applying facts - My stomach is big, it holds in all my vital organs, digests my food, gives my wee dog a comfy warm spot to snuggle on … You get the drift 😂😂 - it works! My tummy is still big, it can mean clothes don’t work on me, but it does vital things for me and I no longer hate it 🤷🏻♀️. I’m giving satin skirts a try now - thanks ❤

I love the camel trousers on you once you put the wee black jacket over the top - the trousers look super stylish - I love camel & have just bought a camel coat from New Look in the sale & it is fab!! I’m much the same size as you, just a couple if inches taller, but it is soooooo nice to see your styling ideas & tips at high street prices for us slightly larger ladies - thank you - I shall be checking out your other videos!! I loved all of the outfits. The best thing I ever bought was a longline arran type knitted waistcoat, covers my tummy with SO many outfits without getting too hot !!

Lovely haul Caroline. There wasn't anything I didn't like and wouldn't wear myself. Re the tucking in, I do it but am very self-conscious of my tummy. I never got rid of my post-partum belly which got bigger as I went into menopause and was subsequently joined by the dreaded midriff "meno-belly". I'm also short bodied and high waisted. Despite all this, I have noticed that, with certain styles, not tucking a top in makes me look bigger, so I have a number of sleeveless longline cardigans in various styles, fabrics and colours which help to disguise my lumps and bumps. My favourite is a calf-length Aran cable knit in gun metal grey that I made myself. 😊
Lovely haul. Fun fact - in your Vlogmas last year, you had a toothbrush that didn't require regular charging. I bought one and today the battery died for the first time. It's now on charge for the first time since Boxing Day. Brilliant little item, thanks for sharing 😊 xx
Ohhh, I remember, the Cheeese one! Sadly my gave up the ghost a few months ago, it started randomly switching itself on (usually in the middle of the night!) - I think it must have got water inside it somehow. Shame, as it was a good little gadget until then.

Camel trousers outfit looks fabulous. It makes you look taller and shows off your waist. So flattering. The cardigan looked lovely with it and is a great way to make you feel more confident in it until you feel more comfortable about your tummy, which by the way looked fine to me.
A fine try on, every piece of clothing seemed to be well-made and beautiful on. The snake print dress is lovely, somehow bringing youthfulness with it. Perhaps youthfulness is not the best word. I love a try-on haul and it’s great that you’re my height so I get a good idea of how things will fit lengthwise. Love that first dress and the trousers, jumper and cardigan combo looks fabulous on you. That rust-coloured top is ideal for autumn. All in all, a very successful haul. 👍🏽

I quite liked all the outfits, including the camel trousers. What a sophisticated, sleek look with the turtleneck and cardigan! The green snake print was very pretty as well. I wonder what the trousers would look like with the peplum top? The trouser outfit once you put the cardigan on looks very smart and elegant - good for everyday but jazzed up with a few bits of jewellery and it a smart evening outfit too. I like the idea of a silky skirt - may try that this autumn.

The camel and black looks really great, the dress is lovely, the skirt is gorgeous and the little top looks fantastic on you! I’ve just bought some very wide leg trousers with the paper bag top and love them and seeing your videos has persuaded me to buy a couple of satin skirts and they look better than I ever expected and are so versatile too. Caroline I have a big belly and a big bum. Everything else went south with the miners strike. Do I lose sleep over this NO. I love the rust top it’s right up my street. The V neck tops are lovely too. You really suit the jeans😊. Nice haul.
I love the camel pants, but I can't wear anything tucked in. I'm very short waisted and have a tummy, so I can't tuck. They however look very nice on you.
With absolute respect, I don't think plus size or overweight apple shape women should ever tuck in a top. Wearing tops at crotch length is best. I have all my tops tailored for this length. Who cares about lengthening legs if mid area is unattractive. Body skimming or even straighter styles at this length look good. I also do not like peplums..they flair out at the area we are trying to avoid. The half tuck or front tuck trend is terrible. Looks sloppy. I did like the dress you presented. I have something similar on order. I bought several loafers to elevate my outfits. I have decided to get off the more athleisure footwear trend and go with comfortable loafers.
Loved the dark ginger top on you. Great for layering. The satin skirt also looked lovely. My husband does not like empire line dresses. He rarely makes comments about fashion but he says everyone looks fat or pregnant in them whether they are stick thin or fuller figured. I bought a couple of dresses and I can tell he doesn't like them. I sort of understand why he would say that. I don't buy them now as I worry when he makes negative comments as they are so rare. The camel trousers looked lovely when you wore the cardigan to balance them out. The colour combination looked very classy. I also liked them with court shoes. I wear my tapered trousers with my Fly London court shoes with a wedge and platform sole. I can't believe how comfy Fly London shoes are but give you a bit of height. Much needed for us vertical challenged ladies. I have been struggling with shoes for a long time, with many crippling me. Don't know what has changed as I have got older but getting comfortable shoes has been a costly exercise of buying and discarding. Just sold 35 pairs on Ebay which gives you some idea how hard it has been. Wendy
Trs look great. A Gillet might look good. I like the shorter and 3quarter lengths, and tying the belt to the side, takes away the focus on tummy. I do this and it does the trick. The shoes look great with trs also👍 The top looked lovely and colour is great with your jeans. I think a gillet would go with all your choices. ❤️👍and your leather jacket of course!🥰🥰🥰😎
I love the dress but I’m so ready for the annoying on me don’t even know what there called bits on the sleeves at the shoulders. I have a dress I love but I feel like my shoulders are on a hanger. The snake print is understated and pretty and looks fab with the boots. Peplum they don’t seem to do longer bodied so my long torso makes them super short on me. But the peplum and m and s jeans look so good. I love that you’re not caught up by numbers I’m still working on that.

Funnily enough I 'tucked in' to jeans on Fri and regretted. It's for flat tummies or at least flatter than mine!

I’m with you about shoes. As I’ve got older I find it almost impossible to find shoes that are comfortable and don’t cost a small fortune

I hate my stomach, it hangs really bad since I had to have surgery, I'm vet uncomfortable with my belly showing.
