AWESOME card I've seen shadow boxes before, but I not seen inside of a card great idea🤔 that was a lot of work a lot of stuff went into that one love it! I really the hearts💕 coming up between the axoloto's clever idea!!!
This is fabulous!!😍 I love to see dies stretched to create other things. I like to see multiple ideas before committing to buy them. They are reasonably priced, but I hate to get something & only using it once. I always create more images than I need. They live in a tin & are great for quick, last minute makes. ♥️🇬🇧
That is so CUTE! I LOVE it! I have to do something like this. It is the funnest looking extended shadow box I have seen in a looooong time. Thank you for sharing your talents and creativity with us!
Beautiful card! Just FYI I think your Ground Espresso ink pad is mislabeled like the one I had. Ground Espresso is a much darker ink than the one you are using. I contacted Ranger and they agreed that my pad was mislabeled and sent me the correct one.
I’m getting into card making and I was wondering since copic markers are so expensive I’m looking for a substitute, but the problem I’m running into is the ones closest to copic are nib tip not brush tip, is there a difference? Can I use nib tip markers
Hi, Shavonne. I do have Copic markers. They are pricey, but I don't buy them all. I tend to buy three that I know blend well. Watching videos gives me the colour blends. You can use nib tips though. Some people prefer them for clean colouring tiny areas. Brushes can bleed over the lines in really tiny places. Hope this helps. Happy crafting. ♥️🇬🇧
Hi Shavonne, many stampers use nib tip markers with great results. I would suggest getting one or two to see how they work for you. Have fun crafting! :)
Sure you can! The problem with nib tips is filling out large areas, but for images destined for cards, which are rather small, like stamp prints, it shouldn't be problem at all :) Check out Marine Simon's videos here on Lawn Fawn channel or on her own channel, she uses Spectrum Noir markers with nib tips and gets amazing results. The trick is to figure out good colour blending groups AND to use proper paper - paper is equally important as markers! Crafters from US seem to like 80lbs Neenah solar white cardstock (which isn't available here where I live, so I can't say more; I use paper from a local company). If I were you, I would buy three tones of the same colour and try to blend them, for example browns or grays for colouring animals, these colours are very versatile. I'm a self-taught-non-expert but I hope it helps ;)
This is just so so cute ... I love the idea of extending the shadow box card that way!
I absolutely love this card. Had to watch again. Hugs, Julie.
