- Artist & Philly native Jazmine Sullivan, then at 12 years old, singing at a Friday Night gospel concert at Created For So Much More Ministries in Baltimore, MD in 1999.
This was my first time hearing her sing. She had the whole church in awe as she so effortlessly and innocently sang! Her gift of song is simply amazing. I never forgot this night and was elated when she started her solo career years later. She's had an incredible journey.
Her voice is a gift from God, she was born to sing!

Everybody is gifted / born with their own unique voice. In Jasmines Case, Her voice was extremely mature and ready early on as appose to many other great vocalists that went through life Alittle to get to that level. God blesses all of us. Just because someone’s voice was excellent early, that doesn’t mean in Gods timing and through what He has for u , that you can’t succeed and be great. It may take Alittle work n time but God never makes mistakes. God bless🙏🏾

I recently saw her on an old episode of Show Time at the Apollo- Kids. She was 11 years old. I couldn’t believe it! Even at that age her voice was a powerhouse.

As we all can see now from the very beginning she already had her trade-mark runs and tonation shades of how she would attack & release a note way back then... some people just born with it...jazz is one of them...not sure who she studied but I find her to be a complete original
