I got back to playing fortnite after this update. I like it when you don't sweat over every kill. Also why would we care about what streamers want? We are the community and we should have our own opinions. Fuck the streamers.

@@YessirImDre its far more difficult to kill a sweat with 200 hp that one with 100 hp. Im really bored of trying for about 5 minutes to get a kill because everyone was hiding in a box like a pussy.

@@bossgaming498 the thing is, finding shields are pure rng. You can go through 10 houses and not find a single shield pot. But with shield for kills you are guaranteed shield as long as you are good enough to get kills.

Anthony Guzman Irazabal Back in Season 1-2 games were easier and everyone was very chill and non sweaty. Nowadays everyone is so sweaty and there's also a lot of people who third party, which means if you get the extra health/shield, you can save yourself from being third partied

ThePartyAnimal it had millions of players without the cup settings for how many seasons now??? It won’t make a difference to new players because they won’t know what the cup settings are in the first place. A new player will assume the obvious.
@@ThaBootyBandit however we had adapted to the playstyle of aggressive pushing because if we get kills we get a reward. Epic only did what they did in the recent patch because they are back as the top platform for other games trying to reach.

I feel like this update was made entirely to decrease the skill gap because noobs were leaving the game from getting outplayed by skilled players, which gives epic less money when they leave before buying skins. Now it’s just harvesting materials for 15 minutes, getting third partied, and then getting killed by a noob due to having no health from playing aggressive. They also removed trapping people in a box, commonly used by good players. By “diminishing other effective strategies” they mean they want the bots to have as good of a chance as possible. This game was so close to perfect it just needed a little balancing. And they claim they have “feedback” and “data” to remove a change that was universally loved by everyone. And that really pisses me off. The skilled player should almost always win. Period. I’m gonna go play apex.
But the problem is that all the bots play Team Rumble so if they want to do that they should remove team rumble as well
Luke Meier yeah they said it’s bc of aggressive play but we all know it’s because noobs were raging. Which is dumb because any game is going to have a skill gap always, and if the game doesn’t, nobody is going to play it because skill gap is what makes the game fun

Anthony Guzman Irazabal the 50 shield/hp per kill was actually a pretty good update that rewarded players, epic games can’t expect good feedback from such a big update like this
